    Hi !

    Eh was just wandering ? Is modified cars not the big flash bling cars from the shows guys ? Dont think a fairly standard is200 or jag are in this modified class ? Track day cars look great the little baby sir looks the biz...

    Anyone with some pics of some high end modded evo 7 or 8s

    Is modified not the changes that you make to your own car that makes it, in your own opinion, look or handle or perform better.

    I reckon that Jag is mint, the wheels are fantastic. I agree with lowering it but then again, owners choice!

    Yes, lowering is on the cards at some stage and yes the car is modified - didn't know that was a prerequisite for this thread :-/

    Modifcations: sticky number plate, cone air filter, straight pipes at the back 1/3 of the exhaust and clear reflectors in the bumpers. The wheels are new - they are 20" Jag Perseus rims off the last of the XK8 models (2006), made by BBS :D

    Apart from lowering, the only external mods planned are to fit a pair of round Devil Eye daytime-running-lights in the grill area

    I have that engine/box in an Octavia L&K I have on loan while waiting for my own car,

    Nice bit of power in it.
    Good on the fuel on a run but a bit alarming around town if you are a bit heavy on the right foot :P

    Getting used to the DSG though.. I feel I may miss it when my own car arrives :(

    Oh you got it resprayed? Did you think orange was too bright a colour for Ireland and opt instead for black/red/silver??

    2 reasons why that wasn't me: -

    Rain..... on my 8? ;)

    And, more importantly, I wasn't about.
    Matt Simmis has a lovely 850csi on Meath plates I think with black wheels. Maynooth is a bit beneath him though ....

    Last time I was out in it was last Friday up to the smoke and back.

    I posted photos before in the Modified Motors section, but not here, and not updated ones. Here goes, it's my JCW Cooper S, every factory option except for Nav, every works option bar none. Everything on the car is a MINI part, including the american front numberplate bracket, the only exceptions being the 6 piston 320mm drilled & slotted Wilwood brakes, and the Team Dynamics alloys - MINIs wheels were all a bit overweight, these weigh SFA.

    If people are interested enough to want it, I can post the spec of the car.
