Just bought this for €250, no tax but NCT 'till the end of August.
Needs a service which I'll do myself, wheel alignment and a new tyre, bought it off my GF's dad so he said he'd get me a tyre (works in Nissan) and help me with any other bits it needs.
The rear alloy is in the boot, that's where the tyre's going.

It's been a daily driver 'till the tax went and other than a keyed bonnet it's clean all over. I'm sure I'll find other problems to fix on it over time but for what I paid for it, I'd just get rid of it if it's soo much hassle, so no worries. :)

Don't see how working in Nissan makes getting a tyre easier? o.O

Tis a cheap buy anyway :)

Looks exactly like mine, but in better nick.

Front bumper sprayed, or a new bumper or something?

Hey no unfortunately that's good old fashioned MR2 bumper fade there. I'd like to get it sprayed along with the wing mirrors but it's pointless when the rest of the car fades so quickly.

Still reckon red is the best colour on an MR2 when it's polished up. Unfortunately with our weather that's not very often.

Here's my mr2. Only got it a couple of weeks back. Can't believe how tight it is for a car if it's age. nice kick from her at crossover too.

I was about to say that they are an amazing design for a 20 year old car, but having checked Wikipedia, they started production in 1989! Unbelievable that it wouldn't look out of place in traffic today, yet is a 23 year old design.

She's really nice. That's a nice colour and rare enough too. I love those wheels, what are they??

I see you've got the UK-spec 'moonroof' instead of a t-bar like mine. Underated in my opinion!

I know what you mean about them being tight considering their age. It's amazing how well built they were. The first thing I noticed driving it was the lack of squeaks and rattles you would normally expect from any old car.

Not sure what the wheels are tbh, i should be swapping them for some 15's the same as yours soon. I'm in a bad way with the chicken pox so couldn't do it this week.

That's the ACIS variable air induction thing :)
VTEC folks wouldn't like the comparison, rightly so too :pac:

?action=view&current=IMG_0389.jpgMy new baby, 98 318is. Picked it up from one of the guys on bmw-driver.net last month. Such a better experience buying off an enthusiast.

Finally got a chance to give her the autoglym treatment. :D
