Ya can't turbo a Vtec, that's just anti........... well anti everything!

You can if your getting paid to do it:P

It ran 258HP at just 0.6 bar. And had a weird characteristic......torque:D

The pic with the astra in the diatance(3rd pic) is the coast road from Rathmullen to Portsalon and the one with the van in the bottom left is the road over the mountains between Ardara and Malin beg(nearly sure it was anyway)

It is a B16 alright....or was until it was driven in to a flood:eek:
Doc you have probably chosen the best (in terms of scenery) two roads at either end of the County. I see you tackled the famous Knockalla Drive road downwards ;). Its freaky driving on that road in second gear, never mind coming up sideways in a Mark II Escort in June.

The Glengesh road in Ardara is Stunning, and every bit as hairy! Have you connections/family in Donegal?

Good power that for such low boost

Even on stock internals they make good power, Buddyclub UK Turbo'd their DC5 and it made near 400BHP without breaking a sweat, but it was a couple of seconds slower than the NA car due to the torque limitations needed to get traction

A friend of ours has a house not far from Ramelton. I've been dozens times and normally end up on those roads at least once every time. I think I've actually been on them in every car I've owned:P

Fond memories of several late night passes of the Knockella drive in the wet in my old R32 skyline;)

Nice , won't meet too many others like that on your travels, always a good thing imo. Try and get into the habit of a weekly glance at the expansion tank level, a stitch in time and all that :)

All the Chinese takeaways local to me have Chinese chaps working in them, so too the Chinese restaurants in Cork City. Same thing when I lived in Galway and Dublin and Leicester. If it's different in Limerick I'd be very surprised :)

Are you saying that Chinese people and Japanese people are the same? That is kind of racist to be honest.
