We're all very good at posting in the moan/bitching/groan thread, so i thought maybe we could try a 'woo hoo!' thread? For the 'i got a job/won the lotto/had a nice day' posts. So, for the first 'woo hoo' post: I got wolf whistled by a large group of guys yesterday, which really cheered me up - and put the 'i got it going…

woo hoo! beat 5/7 people in fencing sparing, finnaly found a sport where being tall and light is useful. nearly stabbed some guy in the groin with a foil (and he wasn't wearing a groin protector either!), people kept stabbing me in the upper thigh around my femoral artery for some reason...

saw Kev today in the sports hall he muttered something to me, dunno what it was! i said hi back anyhow

hillarious, quite competitive, sparring is great, and they always go to the Longstone after so it's easy to get to know people.

you should see the breast protectors, aka toys that women have to wear!:)

Poor old Declan, so. And my degree mightn't be an Arts degree, depending what I choose. And Smith's course isn't offered to degree-level I think.
