@ew999 My clinical assessment wasn't anything crazy hard. Your given a scenario and just asked what treatment you would do, i.e patient is complaining of chest pain post procedure, go through the steps, they may also give you questions on all the medications, again nothing hard just the basics what would you give for allergic reaction, side effects etc. Driving assessment is about an hour long just testing you on local roads, motorway, reverse park etc, just like you would have done in your test keep both hands on the wheel, watch your speed etc. Hope that

Oh that's great thank you. It was short notice and I was nervous as it's this Thursday and I'm out of practice. Thanks for that.

    Hi everyone

Just wondering can you express interest in more than one location?

I Think you can, I did, and if you are offered more than one you choose which you prefer.

Hi does anyone know how long after the expression of interest we might receive the Recommendation to Proceed (if we’ve been successful). Best of luck to everyone!

I emailed to confirm and yes, you can express for all 3.

do you happen to know if the location after initial training is still in the same geographical location as the college or does it revert to the 45km radius of your home where possible? 🤔 I’ve sent them an email yesterday (but wasted time by emailing the wrong email so ended up not sending until after 4.30) so hopefully they will reply before closing 😬……….i was also planning to express interest for all three

Once the EOI closes (Shortly) whats the expected wait times to hear back about positions ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36 bJWXNIXWNXOW

From my understanding once you have completed the initial training. And go onto 2nd year as an intern that's when you have to be placed 40+km from your home address

Here is an old timetable (some info removed). You do not get to pick your A/L in the first year.

You can almost guarantee you will be working a combination of Christmas eve, Christmas day, Stephens day, and news years eve/day as you will be just graduating as an intern in December. (or more than likely, night shift for those dates)

From others previous experiences , if one gets an EOI is it almost a guarantee for a position to be offered?
