Ah it's a clean break in the middle of the pitch when the defence had numbers up.

Taking nothing away from Frawley and Osborne - they did incredibly well.

    But it was poor defence

We'll agree to disagree. It's good manipulation of the defenders, leaving them off balance, so they don't have the body positions and momentum to make effective tackles even if they are numbering up.

It's literally tip on pass; Goggin needs to shut that down. At the time I thought it was just a bad read out the back, but there isn't even anyone out the back of Leinster's shape! It's just a short hit without any boot line out the back. Just absolutely terrible from Goggin.

If DDA is in the centre, he shuts that down and probably kills the whole momentum of the attack. Instead, it's under the posts for seven points.

I wouldn't blame Goggin for looking to the outside. If Osborne throws it out to Penny and he's bitten in on Frawley then you've got Leinster players in a lot of space.

I think people aren't appreciating how good play it was from Osborne. He manages to get Wycherley to stop advancing by running this curve and that makes Goggin also stop and then he's on his heels and Frawley's past him before he knows it.

I'm just hoping the Leinster bubble will burst sooner than later, maybe wait until after the world cup though, be nice to have them finally get us through to a Quarter Final

The leinster bubble could be at max inflation and it might not be enough for the RWC next year given our QF will be against France or NZ.

Could happen. Lancaster isn't going to be there forever. Who knows what will happen when he goes? Things weren't exactly stellar under O'Connor or Cullen in 2015/2016. Even Smith, who was a master at prepping the team for the big games (as long as he had enough of a lead-in period), wasn't as good at developing the wider squad and hence setting things up for long term success. He had to make some pretty average signings, like Mat Berquist.

I just hope someone is taking notes on how Lancaster involves the whole panel in training sessions to accelerate and boost their development so they can implement his techniques when he's no longer there.

This is true, but it is at max bubble where the Irish team will have it's best shot

I do worry that not bleeding players from other provinces at international level will have a detrimental effect on the Irish squad going forward. We saw last weekend the gap in strength it causes between Munster and Leinster

Problem is, Munster players are not good enough. There's a couple that will be fairly soon but, they're just not producing top quality.

Munsters' 1st choice players are as good as any team in the world. but we are not competitive against the better teams when missing 6 or 7 key players through injury

Snyman, Coombes, Beirne, POM, De-Allende, Casey, Archer....

We should still have won against this Leinster selection, but there's a psychological barrier there when we are playing Leinster, the team tend to panic and we stop playing as a team and make lots of individual errors

    Archer...

They were beaten easily in the urc final.... They do have a good squad but they're not at the top level. Snyder hasn't played for 2 seasons! De Allende hasn't made a mark with Munster and Archer?

I know Archer's not the best player in the world, but he's a 1st choice tighthead who was missing for the game

Snyman still counts even if he's been injured for 2 years. If he was available he would make a huge difference, De Allende has been brilliant for Munster and putting Dan Goggin in cold after hardly playing any games all season didn't work out at all, he was clearly not up to speed on the day.

You don't know if Snyder would have made a difference! Who knows if he's going to return to top form.

My point is Munster have not produced anyone worthy of a central contract in years. That's not Leinster's fault. There are some lads coming through who could make a run for a central contract but, saying Leinster GET the majority of the central contracts is nuts. Leinster's players have earned those contracts

    *Snyman.

Really disagree with regards DDA, generally think he's been excellent for us.

Lol, typo! If I was Rowntree , I would try Farrell at 12 with Fekitoa outside him.
