Tom Marquand tekks ride on THAPA VC ~12/1 EW,, name's a 'paigejumpa' - horse is often tardy/slow away/held up ect, but can go from close to pace, and is drawn well in stall one to do so..

one what can be held up, in what looks like a race with some pace on, is EBURY ~8/1 EW ,, hopefully can get involved

not a race for massive stakes, as recent CD winner Flatley is top of h'cap, plus a few (3yo) that can't be ruled

Daisy Jones ~8/11 looks very short for the 2.45 Navan,, will look at that race at some stage,, a good 2nd lto, but that were over 6f - minimum trip tomorrow; them Kodi Bear's (Sire of jolly) seem to fare well at 6fs moreso than five,, possible lay/place-lay ; on flip side, the whole field is poor to moderate

8.30 Kempton - trying to make a case for LOUIS TREIZE ~9/1 here; 8s looks about right, so a smidge o' value at nine to one

Will look at 4 o'c Fontwell and last at Worcester - might find us winner there 😅

Chanced putting up three and four place-lays @ ~2/5 & ~1/3; unless he stays same price, or shortens even, then i doubt those'll be taken 😄

nowt there neither; ground was pretty much good, which didn't help me lay pick on the jolly (who wins at a well-supported 4/6) ; Cromwell's Pashmena (possibly not deemed a prospect on today's Good going) drifts like a barge 'nd finishes third,, no good to me, as backed to win

From one of the 'lesser stables' in Rebecca Menzies' ; it's hard to find fault with the selection's fto second at start of month, which were on the rain-softened ground over the 7f trip at Redcar

no doubt, on form/connections ect, fav should tekk all t'beating here. Johnny G's ~13/8 fav Satirical put up a bold showing when she finished 2nd at Haydock back in May; although that was on good ground, but Kingman's seem to act well enough on soft,, far as 'acting' goes, I'm gonna 'act' as if the fav won't like the ground and/or that her price won't be getting bigger, so will chance three/four place-lays at short odds - sorta basing the place-lays on her going off ~11/10,,, v short odds me's offered up (in hope filly goes off 11/10 + also doesn't go on ground - not hoping for much 😃) skimpy odds offered up for t'place-lays @ ~1/4 & ~1/6

Havana Blue ~5/2 second fav, looks altogether a more dubious proposition (Sire Havana Grey's progeny seem to prefer better ground, and perhaps a shorter trip ie 6fs),, Will also try laying this one for 3/4 places   offered up ~3/5 & ~1/3 for the place-lays here
