    Lead commentator is called Tom Brooks. Did rally cross and British super bikes before this, but would probably be most widely known for commentary and presentation on Gran Turismo World Series events.

    Jack Nicholls was let go after it emerged that he had been very unpleasant to a female junior member of the Formula E organisation team. And while Ben Edwards was initially drafted in (and remains one of the greats of motorsports commentary) Formula E didn't really suit him and when Goodwood festival of speed clashed with Rome, Tom stood in, impressed everyone, was left in place for London and eventually got the role full time for this year.

    I tried to get into this to fill the F1 void, it's a real struggle to watch. I couldn't justify paying an extra €30 just to watch that

    Bigger thing though is that Dennis, Sette Camara, and Nato were all given five-second penalties post-race for overtaking under yellow flags. Apparently though, these overtakes were made on cars that were taking Attack Mode. That is the biggest load of horseshíte ever — to slow down enough so that you don't pass a car going through attack would be incredibly dangerous.

    Attack mode that is far outside of the racing line is the stupidest thing. Put it on the main straight to swivel a bit of the main road. To make it even more dump when activating attack mode, roll the dice with 1 to 6 for duration, except for snake eyes then you have to take it again. #rolleyes

    The next race in Sao Paulo on March 15/16th is being advertised as being on Discovery+. Could be a glitch as I thought they had lost the broadcast rights in Ireland. The first two were not covered.

    I have to say, racing on this track really suits Formula e. And having it as an attack type of race rather than a power saving race brings a better spectacle. Tomorrow's race should be more entertaining with less laps?!
