Portland Oregon this weekend, Saturday night into Sunday morning as it's on the US West coast, 8 hours behind. Race is at 1am Sunday morning Irish, live on Channel 4, all practices and qualifying will be on Channel 4 Sport YouTube.

Not a bad old race once it got going do but it took till after the 2nd safety car before that happened. Some great racing up the front and all down the field. Nice track too and a proper track. Hope they come back here again next year.

@The Chris D. How about just doing a proper race thread for each race. Maybe starting next year we will do a race thread for each race. Only right Formula E has its own race threads too and a General thread.

I mean that's something you'd probably have to take up with the mods here, but I don't see there being sufficient demand for it. The F1 threads garner almost a dozen pages of posts each, whereas pretty much all other motorsports like FE, INDYCAR, IMSA, NASCAR, WEC etc. are a lot more limited. The fact we're only on page 3 after a year kind of says something (although tbf I'm too busy managing Reddit and Discord servers for other motorsports to come here and post live)

Oh and there is a crash. Andre Lotterery is out. Think it was his own fault.

Oh big crash. Sam Bird crashed and then a Masarati crashed into him.

Sam Bird very luck. At least 3 cars hit him and one was right into the side of him. Big crash.

Race still Red Flagged. It has been since the crash.

Well that was massive. Not sure if the yellow flags came out at all before the last car hit. Good to see all the drivers out and ok.

I think there's a bump in the road at turn 6 that's causing these crashes, and then it is a blind corner so you can't anticipate where to go when you arrive at the scene!

Seriously scary accident, especially the side on after the recent tragedies in Spa. Sam Bird is a lucky lucky man. He's been there since the start in 2013 and I wonder if this incident might make him consider hanging up his helmet at the end of the season.

The yellows were deployed (you can see the yellow warning lights go on Buemi's wheel just before he contacts), it's just that there's always going to be a reaction time delay.
