Perhaps with the extra energy there's more scope for playing with delivery and tactical regen. I'd said the other teams will begin analysing Porsche in detail and snooping around to see if there is any cheating.

Buemi's stuffed it at T9 in FP1.

Watched qualifying this morning. Big crash between one of the Masarates and the Jaguar of Buemi.

Both drivers OK do.

The Mahindra powered cars did not get out at all. Some problem with there rear suspension.

Max Gunther in P2 for the race in the other Masy and the Nissan of Sasha Fenastrati in p1.

It was good qualifying.

Great race. I only seen the last 17 laps so no idea what happened in the first 15 but what a race. The race leader changed overall a good few times. A classic I think and a great track too with a great background as well and views.

What a car breaker of a tracker. Really quick, and plenty of mistakes due to the speed of the track. Some race in the end. Couldn't pick out who the winner would be.

Good race. So glad that the Vergne and Da Costa battle spills out beyond their teammate years! Loved the circuit but the race director was awful again, missed some major incidents or cut away at the wrong time.

Feel bad for Dennis, he has had bad luck over the last 2 rounds and could well be leading the championship.

Watched the gp yesterday (virgin medias sd feed was awful but hey ho) enjoyed it have to say, fairly chaotic and close racing. Bit mad that leading the race early on is actually a hindrance but adds another depth to proceedings.

Not the sharpest tools in my opinion. Not as an eventful race today but the championship is very healthy.

Monaco on at 2pm. The attack mode zone is at the outside of Casino. I'm not sure how feeding back into the train is going to work. Could maybe see some incidents going down towards Mirabeau!

Hughes on pole. A bit of a disjointed grid too so will be interesting watching the start finish straight every lap. Hopefully it won't turn into a power saving race between leaders.
