Yeah the utter shame of it Necro...
Swear It Again wouldn't even get near my Top 10 Westlife songs.

What would your number 1 be?

Aww, hard luck EN - Vow would've easily been top five if I was judging this. Westlife, not so much....though it wouldn't have come in the bottom two since two of my most hated songs of all time are in that list.

Ah, a man of taste ;)

Guessing we might see Mr Brightside, Wannabe, Hit Me Baby One More Time...
One out of three. I'm amazed Mr Brightside didn't come up!

    Woohoo!!!!

I wasn't sure how that song would do here. Evanescence seems to be a bit marmite here on Boards.

But i've loved that band since this song came out.

And actually I'm not suprised that Shelly submitted it too, because i know she's a fan too :)

Glad to have made up for my last round error :D

Sinéad you have excellent taste in music :D

I'll admit that as we got closer to the end I thought it might come last.

After all this time, who knew it would be the real Fab 4 that made us click?

Yep, I said 4, Brian McFadden can GTF.

No no no... this competition is flawed.

HOW CAN OASIS AND SUPERSONIC FINISH SO LOW AND WESTLIFE FINISH SO HIGH....

    Its wrong. Just wrong.

I like a few Oasis songs but I kinda dislike them in general. If I was basing the scores on popular opinion then they would have obviously scored a lot higher but had to go with my own taste for the integrity of the game.

    Dancefloor

Songs which would have done well in this category

    Delerium - Silence

Dune - Rainbow To The Stars

Sash! feat. La Trec - Stay

Scooter - Back In The U.K.

Frankie goes to Hollywood - The Power of Love (Club Remix)

If it was another category I would say very possibly, but I thought I my pick was safe enough for this one....

.....which means it may well still be mine! :pac:

In 16th place with 4 points is
    LeVar

    Sunblock - I'll Be Ready

    Heard the artist: No
    Heard the song: No

    My rating: ★★☆☆☆

    Review

A remix of the wonderful Jim Jameson Baywatch theme. The original is excellent but this is not good. I do like a good remix of a classic and there have been many great ones but I don’t like this at all. Don’t remember it either, it must have been released after my time. No nostalgia here and not a great mix of a classic means it falls very short on the ratings.

I’m mixed on this one. Used to like it but in recent years I’ve grown to dislike it. The rating reflects my nostalgia for it. I think it is the vocals I dislike. I can’t understand the words she is singing sometimes (no disrespect to Italian folk), Then there is the na.na.na. part, nope I just don’t like it. Musically it is fine in some parts, I really like some of the sounds. I just can’t listen to this song anymore and like it. Not a good pick sorry.

Okay, I do remember this song, but not the version nominated. I didn’t like that one so I found the version I remembered without all the unnecessary signing. Reminds me of the Island club scene rather than my local town. This was on all the compilation albums. Nice music, dancey but chilled out at the same time. Always found the video kind of funny, David looks like a real cool dude. I had initially rated this a 2 stars but going to give it 3. Like it more after a few more listens.
