WRONG. I thought this was awful, there’s some woeful shoehorning going on at times and overuse of some tracks in other places. It just doesn’t sound right at all and I do quite like my mashups when they work. This one just fell very short of the mark for me. Soz

Passion Pit – Take A Walk

Y’all are just full of fun surprises for Monday Blues cures, usually I hate walking or physical activity of any description (I like to save my moves for the stage :P ) – but listening to this song might actually get me out and moving! Love how the drum beats at the start mimic strides, just overall really enjoyed this track.


That sees JGF take the lead at the top of the table as well from Kathleen, she finishes up on 82 points which means that Barney can tie with her for first... or she will take the crown outright...

Hamilton Cast – Satisfied

Back to Hamilton we go again folks and this is the best one yet. It’s got a bit of everything and I just thoroughly enjoyed it each time it came round on the playlist. The thing about this one as well is that I absolutely would sit down and watch a musical or Broadway production to chase my Monday Blues away, so it’s a very clever choice in keeping with the theme.

So this is mostly a speech – which I’m sure would be glorious if I was from Mother Russia, but unfortunately you’ve got a culchie from the Northwest of Ireland as your judge here. The Russian National Anthem is…. Grand as far as national anthems go, it’s no France or USA though, or even a bit of Flower of Scotland. As far as the theme it’s not really missing the mark so much as aiming in the exact opposite direction :P So yeah, tis a no from me
