Yep, was just about to post, also near Roundwood. Circa 350m - 400m seems to be the snow line from what I can see? Snow seems to be becoming more of the mix.

Despite what this radar sequence is showing, there hasn't been anything more than a few drops of rain yet in North Kildare, SE of Enfield. The wintery precipitation aloft may be deceiving the radar however the Met Eireann radar imagery looks to be a lot more accurate, as it often is.

Yeah....I think that radar is 'off'/map no aligned properly.

Moderate rain in Dublin 16. 4.4c atm. Snow symbol is up on Davis now.

That’s not very likely. It is quite common for the radar to see precipitation that doesn’t make it to the ground.

In this case it seems to giving the illusion that the front is making it further north than modeled, when that may not be the case at all.

Good conditions out there for evap cooling, light winds or calm with decent intensity precip, be nice to get another kick off the front to enhance the precip intensity a little more before it clears away.

    MOD Note

A difference of opinions is allowed , actually it’s encouraged as it engages healthy debate , getting upset about them differences of opinion and getting into , ( for want of better word ) A flake measuring contest is not , it drags the thread off topic , off topic posts removed
