Keep at the competencies in the handbook, that was my advice and experience

Hi. Did you interview? I have one coming up. Would appreciate any help to make it easier for me. Thanks

Stick hard to the competencies, if interviewing by zoom I found it handy to put keycards to the left and right of my computer for prompts, it felt very relaxed after my initial nerves, they really want to nearly help you hit the marks they have set out on the competencies

If I think of anything else I'll post, is the interview by zoom?.

Hello would anyone have an information around what the actual starting salary is? I have seen on adverts it says very good! When I contacted HR they said look at handbook were it says €500 per week approx for 48 hours but there’s allowances! Even with allowances this would not get above €14 per hour if my maths is correct. Before I consider leaving my position I want to make sure it’s beneficial, especially with night work. Thanks

Hey just wondering could anyone help me out? Placed number one oom for my area. Vetting was completed and a disclosure made on the 30th of March, pas contacted me about my references. Employer informed me that nobody had contacted them for references since. Seems to a be a standstill, any ideas what is happening would be great as I was really excited thinking I had the job

It is the basic Clerical Officer payscale, plus I think 25% shift allowance. You get paid extra for Sundays and bank holidays also.

What's it like working in GISC, does the allowance bring up pay a good bit?

Is the shift allowance calculated on the overall figure?
