IMO Trump will win, in part owing to his covid recovery & predominantly owing to Bidens anti oil stance...

You actually believe that Trump had Covid and recovered in 2 days?

Everyone knows that, some people need no recovery time at all.

These crowds look bigger than 2016

Big crowds in the midst of a global pandemic = disaster. Trump = disaster.

Better for Trump to lose, so people can stop pointing the finger at him and actually fix their problems

Nemtsov was in the opposition but he didn't run for president against Putin. It's been claimed by his ally it was done by Kadyrov of Chechnya.

Russian opposition leader and Nemtsov's ally Ilya Yashin claimed that Chechnya's leader Ramzan Kadyrov was behind the assassination of Nemtsov, saying that "Chechnya today is a quasi-Islamic state within the Russian federation that does not obey Russian rules, and whose only connection with the federal authorities is the systematic receipt of money from the federal budget. Russian society stays silent because people are afraid of Kadyrov. And he exploits this fear as an instrument to muffle critics."[86] Zhanna Nemtsova repeatedly said she wanted Kadyrov to be questioned about what he knew about the assassination of her father.[87]

Litvinenko wasn't even a politician, he was a journalist and a spy.

Not just a spy - a double agent leaking state secrets and his own father disowned him when he found this out - Putin would be entitled to have him killed on this basis, double agent spies spilling state secrets are a legitimate target for any nation. He knew the consequences of his actions.

Tha was straight out off Wikipedia.

Kadyrov is Putin's man in Chechnya. He doesn't get to send his men to within sight of the Kremlin without approval and an invitation. Do you honestly think Chechen hit men get to go in and out of Moscow whenever they like?

The Kremlin came up with and leaked three different scenarios/fairy stories:
On March 16, Kremlin insiders leaked a third version of the Nemtsov murder case. The first version of March 8 accused the five Chechens under arrest of killing Nemtosv on their own due to Islamic fundamentalism. The March 13 version depicted the Chechen 5 as mercenaries of Ukraine and cast suspicion on their boss, Chechnya's strongman, Ramzan Kadyrov. The March 16 story line is that the Chechen 5 acted on their own out of personal hatred for Nemtsov and that their boss, Kadyrov, had nothing to do with the matter. Can we expect another version tomorrow? The answer seems to depend on how behind-the-scenes power struggles within the Russian regime play out.
    https://www.forbes.com/sites/paulroderickgregory/2015/03/18/the-kremlins-new-new-version-of-the-nemtsov-murder/

The Russian authorities arrest the Chechen assassin's, but the trail ends there, because the Russian authorities have all turned woke, before there was woke; lost their mojo and can no longer bring themselves to ask detainees difficult questions that might upset them? The same born again Hari Krishnas who sent Nadezhda Tolokonnikova of the Band Pussy Riot to a detention camp in Siberia where she was made to do forced labor for 17 hours a day in freezing conditions.

Get some Chechen thugs to tell them who was behind it? No siree, we don't do cruel anymore - we'll poison anyone you like with exotic and very nasty substances, but we wouldn't dream of even raising our voices when asking a Chechen Assassin who gave the orders.

If you believe the Kremlin's pack of lies, well gullible just got a level up in meaning.

Litvinenko worked for the FSB, tackling organised crime. He was murdered by Putin for his accusations that Putin was a paedophile. He also called Russia a Mafia state and came to realize Putin ran it and was behind the corruption. This stuff about him being a spy and double agent is just a smokescreen for you to justify his murder, for what reason I don't know other than to cover your arse.

I have no interest in scrambling to answer a gish-gallop, especially when you mention the public pornography exhibitionists and vandalisers (including of sacred monuments and churches) group of liars called Pussy Riot. Even the western media was forced to drop them eventually they got so ridiculous. By bringing them up you betray the fact you really have no idea what you're talking about.

As is well-known Chechens would never give up their power or obey Russia on most matters. Putin haters claim they gave Chechnya too much power, not the opposite like what you're suggesting, so you might want to alter your script on that for next time instead of making a fool of yourself.

Just when you thought the gerymandering and ballot interference by the Repugnant party couldn't get worse or be more blatant:

A federal judge in Texas scheduled an emergency hearing for Monday on whether Houston officials unlawfully allowed drive-through voting and should toss more than 100,000 votes in the Democratic-leaning area.

In a brief order, US District Judge Andrew Hanen in Houston on Friday agreed to hear arguments by a Republican state legislator and others that votes already cast at drive-through voting sites in the Houston area should be rejected.
Democratic vice presidential candidate Senator Kamala Harris speaks at a campaign in Fort Worth, Texas.

The lawsuit was brought on Wednesday by plaintiffs including Steve Hotze, a conservative activist, and state Representative Steve Toth. They accused Harris County Clerk Chris Hollins, a Democrat, of exceeding his constitutional authority by allowing drive-through voting as an alternative to walk-in voting during the coronavirus pandemic.

'Your honour, our agents saw several black people in wheel chairs wheel themselves into that there hall to vote. As you know perfectly well, thats against the rules and they gotta walk.'

'Objection sustained Bill, Martha wants you round fer dinner Sunday, ya hear? I order that all ballots cast at that nest of vipers polling station be destroyed as they must all be contaminated by them illegal wheels.'

Looks like the Australian government is a bit worried thing might get violent and out of hand:
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is warning Australians not to travel to the United States due to concerns about possible civil unrest connected to the US Election.

There are already restrictions on leaving Australia due to COVID-19 but this still makes difficult reading.

What's the issue here? People think "it is what it is" is being dismissive of the deaths? It seems pretty obvious in the clip that Trump is acknowledging that the deaths are bad and that can't be downplayed ,hence "it is what is it".

Then they wonder why people don't trust them.

Honestly I think Trump is probably a bad idea overall, but the fake news msm just makes it worse with this sort of thing. Someone anti-establishment like Trump but with a lot more respect for the environment and the lower classes would be ideal.

Be afraid... be very afraid... BOO! :D

Florida being probably the most important of all the swing states, this is looking great for Trump.

If CNN are reporting this, you know Biden is in HUGE trouble.

He needs Miami-Dade, and he needs it by a big margin to offset other Rep dominated counties... but it's not looking good.

    https://edition.cnn.com/2020/10/30/politics/democrats-uneasy-higher-republican-turnout-miami-dade/index.html

Florida doesn't matter a damn if Biden wins in the rust belt. Not one little but.

Former Presidents should be allowed to run again, after a 4 year gap. Would make sense. Seems silly that a good president has to be lost to the wind because of a rule made billions of years ago.

It was only made in the 50s, after FDR broke precendent by running for more than 2 terms.

    No idea. Must find out

The rule is 2 terms max. When those lads ran there as no legal limit, there was just a general agreement that no one would do more than 2 terms because that's what George Washington did.

As said, FDR ignored that because of WW2 and actually won 4 terms. Dying before the end of the 4th. The 22nd amendment was passed in 1951 to prevent it happening again.

IMO there should just be one 6-year term

Re-election makes a single 4-year term ineffective. You spend the second half of your term focusing on re-election and get nothing done. Obamacare would have sunk Obama's reelection if he tried it in his first term.

You need to know that you have an end date from day one in order to give it your all and 6-years should be plenty time to make your mark

All sounds perfectly reasonable until you take account of the rest of the interview where he tried to make out he was doing a great job an America was leading the world.

Or his previous, and subsequent, statements that it is nothing, the flu, it will be gone soon, the heat will deal with it.

    Arizona: +6 Biden
    Florida: +3 Biden
    Pennsylvania: +6 Biden
    Wisconsin: +11 Biden

Didn’t mark Meadows promise a vaccine before the end of October?

Well we’re into November now and no vaccine, was Meadows lying or just confused?

This is one of the better examples of baffling Trump administration lies. I mean if they were going to just make this sh*t up (which anyone following the various vaccines' progress knew was just that at the time it was said - a lie) why not use Thanksgiving or Christmas as expected timelines. E.g. A date after the election, not before it!

Because the administration is run by a fool, surrounded by fools, followed by fools.

We should defend our way of life to an extent that any attempt on it is crushed, so that any adversary will never make such an attempt in the future.

Pity then that he went on to constantly downplay deaths, telling everyone that Covid was beaten on days when over a thousand Americans died from it. Stop inventing a conscience for him.

Maybe it wasn’t a lie. I’m sure Pete will be along soon to tell what Meadows actually meant to say, he’s done that before when we foolishly thought Trump had lied and Pete was able to clear it up.

For these ones you say :

    Being positive/optimistic isn't lying.

And follow it up with something something leftist liberal media.

Well.... That's were it gets tricky. If people on the left / democrat side lie then you can call it lying.

    Best way to manage is:

    1. Listen to what someone has to say
    2. Look up political affiliation
    3. Make decision on what they said.

    Point 2 is vital though.
Also if you know their political affiliation already you may even skip 1 and go straight to 3.

    Optimistic statements
    falsehoods
    alternative facts

All being used by the GOP to obscure their blatant lies (Trump must be up to at least 30,000 lies by now).

And they say the mainstream media is going woke :D

Are one half of america still completely ignoring Biden, his son and the laptop and crack sex and pay for play situation?
Just to get the old white man out of office?

    What have we become.

The story that hasn't been validated as remotely true? Even Tucker dropped it..
