Zanahiyr wins impressively again he's the one being hyped up for the triumph but Quilixios is the potential superstar out of the stable big things are expected and that comes straight from the yard.

I think the winner ran really well and the fact of the matter is that mares can have off days.

My 10 cents. They are not machines.

The Bosses Oscar has been working very well at home and is sure to run a great race in the 12.40 his owners are certainly hoping for it.

You can see why they are desperate to run Envoi Allen in that Plate now because it looks like he wouldn't touch Monkfish.

Pity we don't get to see them take each other on.

Don't worry we will see it in the 2022 Gold Cup.

You seem to be missing the purpose of a Novice campaign!!

Unless you see something you strongly fancy, I'd suggest people keep their powder dry from now until the Dublin Racing Festival. There may be the odd half decent Saturday meeting but not for me, its likely fodder.

Then its all roads to Cheltenham.

Not a mention of Sharjah, he has much better form that any of the Novices, and one thing learned over the years, CH form means more than anything. Ran really well last year on soft ground, if it turns up decent ground, he wont be far away.

Problem is he is inconsistent, but on a going day is the 2nd best hurdler around.

I can never get on the right side of Sharjah. Whenever I fancy him he doesn't produce the goods, and the days I overlook him he either wins or places at a tidy price.

Sharjah is like Conti, a winter horse. A christmas horse.
Wouldn't have him for the festival in a million years

    Nonsense

Its's gas how year after year people make the same mistakes backing horses in March down to winter performances
Talk to them in April and they will bemoan themselves falling into the same trap, and then come Christmas, they do it all over again.

    Tis truly a mugs game

(note* it takes a mug to know a mug, and by jesus I am a mug!!!)

Apparently the most well backed 50/1 horse of all time has passed away. RIP Labaik, never has a horse's temperament matched its career so well.

Yes at times brilliant- won a king George , should have won the RSA more comfortably but went nuts towards the finish. Thought he would win a gold cup but native river was brilliant that day
