Work time, but only about 40 minutes each way.

Enjoy even though it's brief, hope the scenery is good :)

Couchside. Chillin' and thinking about the rest of the year, how things might play out and how best to spend the next few months!
Guzzling homemade lime cordial, chips and guac but daydreaming about the frozen margaritas and appetisers from 777 :)

    Addendum:
Just downloaded the new Taylor Swift album as much needed "new stuff" to process. Expectations all over the place!
Seems like a long time since my Saturday nights were for country-popsters turned Skrillex-diversonaires turned alt-folksters. So if this doesn't work out it's back to Pixies and NIN. (No pressure Tay-Tay) :)

I think it's a really good album. There's a Big Red Machine vibe to a lot of it considering who she collaborated with and that's a big plus for me. Pop music has deteriorated since I was younger in my opinion so will be good to see more decent pop music back in the charts.

The heat is too much at the minute for me. Not so much now but earlier the heaviness was ridiculous.

Totally understandable. I think everyone wishes it never happened and would just go away.

200 cases today, looks like the lockdown for Kildare will be extended.

I wonder how it will go when all work places, schools and unis go back?

Couchside, I feel tired all of a sudden, must be the heat.

Same here, exhausted, I had an unexpected fabulous day, left a wet dreary Cork at midday to go to Kerry and presumed I'd be coming straight back due to the weather, it was absolutely gorgeous down there so had a bite to eat and a pint and headed to Muckross for a gorgeous walk and more food. It was so sunny and warm,it was my first time seeing people swimming in the lake down there, couchside now,the gang just got a takeaway but I'm still stuffed , too tired for wine and I know if I put on my programme I'll fall asleep within minutes, might hit the leaba soon.

Oh no. I'm just anxious about that happening again. I'll get a handle on myself though and stay present. Everything will be ok.

Me too, I think it's going to be a long, bleak winter and Christmas will be a quiet time.

Agree... haven’t felt myself this anxious about the whole thing since maybe April/May :(

I could never see the schools reopening and even less so now. I agree about the bleak winter but I'd love a quiet family Christmas with way less commercialism, obviously I'm hoping for a Covid free one but if that's not possible I'd love an old fashioned one. I know people that are buying stuff already in case of major lockdown, I just think that's ott....I'm definitely getting old lol.

Less consumerism would be lovely, but unfortunately the economy is fcuked so we should be careful what we wish for.

Having said that, I'd love a quieter Christmas where the focus was on the people present and rich food on the day itself, Stephen's day and new year's day. We get too carried away with it now.

Felt we had it under control until a few weeks ago, now we're looking at 200 cases in one day again, need a large drink.
