The BLM movement continues to get out of hand and shows the hypocrisy of the movement day by day. I see a lot cases like this but this one, in particular, was worse because even at the protest location where Rashard Brooks died and the message of the demonstration, even black people are not safe. Its sad.

They don't though. That's the point.

The likes of BLM represent themselves in a confused and confusing manner. It was born out of a group within society being tired of seeing their people being targeted by what they feel is an unjust police force. They don't even have a clear set of objectives, never mind a set of left wing ideals.

They're a bunch of single issue campaigners who have no idea how to proceed, made up of pissed off black folk and middle class white saviours, who get to feel smug for a while because they put a stone through a window.

I'd say few of them, if any, would have even close to an opinion on what a union is supposed to represent, or even what a national health service would look like. Because they've never given it a second thought.

They are merely reacting to a specific and tiny subset of criteria.

America doesn't have a bulls notion what the left wing is. To them it's Stalin and then all bets are off. They've been groomed to think that way since 1917. Of course, when pressed, you'll find that everyone likes the idea of paid holidays, weekends off, paid lunch breaks, decent working conditions, etc. All stuff that was fought for and won by the left during the 20th Century. It sure as shit didn't come from those on the right.

People can strawman these groups as "the left" all they want, but the only effect it has is to make them sound foolish.

I have never made a genaralised statement about a particular race. I'm a white male why would I be disparaging against Whites. That's just nonsense.

It's funny the amount of times I've seen people called 'right', 'far-right', 'alt-right' across these boards because of things like censorship, immigration, abortion, men's rights, Trump you've never been there to so quickly to correct them like you do with the term 'left'.
