I can remember this mockumentary from 1977, freaked me anyway as a kid but it was called Science Report 1977: Alternative 3 and was broadcast only once on ITV, it was originally intended as an April Fool joke but created quite a similar reaction to Orson Welles's War of the Worlds radio play when it was broadcast.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

I didn't believe in flying saucers until I had a row with my GF over dinner .

With all this talk of assange lately was there any mention of aliens or ufos in the wiki leaks?

Whats the opinions here on Dr Steven Greer?

Seems like a phoney to me.

The thing that fascinates me about Greer is how effortlessly he can talk for long extended periods yet say absolutely nothing concrete. Yes I'd agree he seems suspect.

Just look at how much he charges groups to go out into the desert on retreats with him, to "summon" the UFOs to the area. That will tell you all you need to know about the "good" Dr.

Agreed. The Sirius documentary was a massive let down too.

Arthur C Clarke had a great quote:

“Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.”

I dont really believe aliens have visited us but I do believe there is life in some form somewhere else.

Greer summoning UFOs is ridiculous. I mean, look, I'm not dismissing that alien life forms from other dimensions is not unreasonable. I'd be highly sceptical of those claims. Either way it's irrelevant.

Cmdr Fravor and his other pilots that where on that mission, now that's hard to dismiss. That's The first time that me, a sceptic, was confronted with evidence that there is some major major **** going on. That's basically proof. As Mulder would say, keep watching the skies!

John O. Brennan, head of the CIA for 4 years under President Obama:

    https://youtu.be/LdQ7L0ugZJc?t=408

BRENNAN: I’ve seen some of those videos from Navy pilots, and I must tell you that they are quite eyebrow-raising when you look at them. You try to ensure that you have as much data as possible in terms of visuals and also different types of maybe technical collection of sensors that you have at the time.

Also, I believe, it’s important to reach out into other environments and find out, were there any type of weather phenomena at that time that might have, in fact, created the appearance of the phenomenon that you’re looking at? Were there some things that were happening on the ground, or other types of phenomena that could help explain what seems to be quite a mystery as far as what is there?

I think an important thing for analysts to do is not to go into this type of challenge either discounting certain types of possibilities or believing in advance that it is likely X, Y, or Z. You really have to approach it with an open mind, but get as much data as possible and get as much expertise as possible brought to bear.

COWEN: At the end of all that sifting and interpreting, what do you think is the most likely hypothesis?

BRENNAN: [laughs] I don’t know. When people talk about it, is there other life besides what’s in the States, in the world, the globe? Life is defined in many different ways. I think it’s a bit presumptuous and arrogant for us to believe that there’s no other form of life anywhere in the entire universe. What that might be is subject to a lot of different views.

But I think some of the phenomena we’re going to be seeing continues to be unexplained and might, in fact, be some type of phenomenon that is the result of something that we don’t yet understand and that could involve some type of activity that some might say constitutes a different form of life.

The bit where he says "we don't know everything in the universe " so I cant categorically rule anything in or out?
Yeah , out of his tree :)
    Sorry BattleCorp
I read that as 'is a nut case'
    Completely agree with you.
    My bad

Sounds like he leans more to the inter-dimensional rather than space travellers theory.

Watch from 1hr 6 mins and 8 seconds in this award winning BBC documentary - Hypernormalisation:

If it is to be believed, its alleged the US government used people to spread the rumour (a fake conspiracy) that they were seeing alien visitations but the lights in the skies were secret USA aircraft / flying machines.

Elizondo, Mellon and Justice have left To The Stars Academy with the aim of putting their efforts into "second gear". Many would argue that their association with Delonge had them in reverse but it cannot be denied that their work over the last couple of years have made the topic less ridiculous to speak out about.

Is there life on other Planets? Odds are there is

Is that life intelligent enough / motivated enough / capable enough to build craft to leave that planet and travel to other planets ? Maybe

Has some alien civilisation traveled here yet and been spotted in their craft or landed and made contact but Goverments have covered it all up ? I'm leaning towards a big No on that one.

I predict that by the end of 2021 there will be an entire category on here dedicated to this topic. Things seem to be moving quickly in terms of credible sources speaking out (pilots, astro physicists, senators, government sources, the new UFO task force, the US fighter pilot videos and more). Interesting times ahead.

More chance of us killing ourselves through war than surviving long enough to create the technology required to travel to far away planets

Yes this is what the fermi paradox gets at , as a civilization is getting close to the tech level that would enable intergalactic travel they are also racing towards the probability of developing a mega weapon that blows up the planet or destroying their own environment.

Today is the 40th anniversary of the Rendlesham Forest incident. Has to be up there as one of the most credible cases.

The reality is that the RAF AARS (spacecraft) recovery team likely played a prank on the US soldiers based near to them at Rendlesham.

But hey, a lot of people are making a living out of Rendlesham on the conference circuit so who got the last laugh.

Pentagon UAP Task Force report due in 180 days. It's amazing that the fact a funded UAP task force was set up has barely been mentioned by the media or vast public. Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian reveals her favourite colour is pink.
