Yeah but I pay out of my phone credit on three.

I can't get these other playlists. I only have my phone to go by as the laptop died last week.

I think Strawberry Milkshake has already started preparing them in Spotify.

Also pretty sure the third song is the wrong version, The longer version is more famous to me at least

Appreciate the effort Shane, I'm on Play with 3 credit too!

Obviously I appreciate your monumental effort too Strawbs :)

I feel like Simon Cowell rating some of these songs. A lot of songs from Group 2 getting no points from me as things currently stand...

I'm the opposite; I really like a lot of this second group. I'm not finished listening yet but so far I have one 20, four 18's and four 16's. Lowest at the moment is a 4.

There's some strong songs in there for sure, but about half the songs in that group just not grabbing me at all. Thats not to say they're bad songs, but I've kind of set up my own little criteria here for the purposes of rating, but I'm still going in with an open mind, so its not a case or me just saying "f**k that song", I'm giving each the same opportunity to grab my attention.

And some new songs are doing a good bit better than songs I'm very familiar with.

Had a quick glance ahead, and there's one group in particular that looks absolutely stacked and I can see myself giving out high marks to nearly all the songs in it.

I'd rather be a bit more ruthless and overly critical now at this stage, so that when we get to the head to heads its only the best of the best that will be duelling it out.

I reckon if we had a limit on the number of entries we could give points to, or a total number of points to split among the entries, I'd be more critical out of necessity. But right now my brain is just judging them all on their own merits, without mind to the competition.

If this was like Eurovision, and we could only pick ten songs to give points to, then I'd obviously have lots of zeroes out of sheer necessity; my 11th favourite might be a lot better than my least favourite but they ultimately score the same nul points. But without that kind of strict criterion I'm just giving out points like Oprah! :p

Damn, wish I'd picked a different SA song now. This competition could do with It Takes Blood And Guts to Be This Cool But I'm Still Just a Cliche!

I feel like I am starting a marathon a day after everyone else here.

Can I confirm, there is just one playlist on the go at the moment?

    This one: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2v...QRCKz0gRD-ofQg

How long before the next list will be released.

    My scoring includes:

6 scored 20 (including 2 of my own)
    5 scored 15
    4 scored 10
    10 scored 0

I found that I either really liked or disliked the nominations, not too many in the middle ground.

If this competition and LeVar's have taught me anything it's that I like country music way more than I used to, must be getting old

Country can be very hit and miss, and I think the Country that people are most familiar with or what springs to mind immediately comes more from the latter.

Most people would think of Garth Brooks and crap like that. He was huge in this country a decade or two ago.

Yeah, that type of Country music wouldn't appeal to me at all.

Was about 6 years ago when Ward Thomas and The Shires came on the scene and I loved them, that I then went and began discovering the good kind of Country music.
