You must be blind, last night i passed a park with easily 50 teenagers more or less stuck together and having a laugh, very few had masks. The virus is quite unpleasant and if you get it with a dose of something else which is a real possibility due to how contagious it is(also doesn't have to be the flu), your in for the worst few weeks of your life! We should be up to level 4 phase in Dublin. If numbers aren't brought down, it could turn into a nightmare and not only for the vulnerable this time around. We should be coming out of it around Paddy's day but if you think the parades will go ahead you are quite wrong. Take precautions and stay well.

Above is awful bs, some people are asymptomatic. It affects different people differently

2022? We would all have caught the virus by then.

Most likely. So there may be no real need for it by then.

Realism. Actually I feel he's being optimistic with mid 2022. I'd have said next decade

Strange, here is another link, hope it works:

Just a statement from Wednesday that the initial 30k volunteers have been recruited. They're looking for another 14k with different clinical backgrounds.

Between this and the main thread your posts seem to come across as some of the most negative I've seen.
I just really hope that you actually don't believe some of this stuff you post, for the sake of your own mental health.

The UAE has already started distributing the Chinese vaccine to their health care workers and those considered vulnerable.

Do you know how many successful vaccines have been created for any coronavirus?

Il give you a hint . It's less than 1

The other coronaviruses either don't need a vaccine because they are not serious enough, or are not widespread enough to allow a vaccine to be safely tested (MERS). There is no immunological reason why a vaccine for covid-19 can't be developed. The fact that the human body can fight off Covid 19 is very encouraging for vaccine development

It’s obvious you’re a bit clueless there. Educate and research yourself on what’s going currently with the upcoming vaccines. They are painting a slightly different picture than the one you’re trying to paint.

They never managed to create a vaccine for any previous coronavirus. No vaccine was ever found for Mers and Sars. Both still circulate around Asia and the middle east and claim lives every year.

    This is ONE.
The UAE's health minister has been given the first dose of a vaccine designed to protect the public from coronavirus.

Abdulrahman Al Owais received a jab that was developed in a testing operation between the UAE and China, on the same day the country tested more than 100,000 people in 24 hours for the first time.

The jab was approved for use last week after extensive tests found the vaccine to be safe and effective in preventing a person from developing Covid-19.

It was found to generate antibodies that fight the virus, which has so far infected more than 30 million people worldwide and led to the deaths to date of 950,000.

It will initially be given to frontline health workers in emergency cases.

No virus has ever had this amount of investment before ever, so comparing it to the lack of a vaccine for a different virus is idiotic.

Yes but the results so far are telling a diffferent story than the one you’re trying to tell.

At this stage it’s more likely we’ll have a vaccine than not.

Did we ever have a coronavirus vaccine before? No

    Did we try ? Yes

That's my point and its true

So you have no sources for these specific claims so?

False info. Only one was temporarily suspended but now has resumed.

What matters is weather they will be able to create a vaccine for this coronavirus.
All evidence so far is looking very good that there may be several candidates ready and approved by next year.

So unless you or the other poster can provide solid evidence that there won't be by the end of next year never mind next decade as the other poster suggests, then all use are doing is posting negative rubbish without any substance to it.
