Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Surely that's forward.

Not according to the ref and the TMO.

Why was Herring told to leave the ball alone in that last ruck? Was it because the Welsh players tried to clear him out from the side?

He had won a clear turnover there and was told hands away. No way a ruck had formed. The breakdown referring is awful. Great try though

Ah Ireland nobody to blame but themselves there. Wales from nothing

Johnny struggling with Poite, understandable but needs to be careful

There is night and day between the straightness of the attack. Ireland drift sideways and commit no defence. Result 5 points after dominating for 25 minutes. Wales get half a sniff and bam.

    They weren't forward passes

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,148 ✭✭✭✭JRant

Line-speed is just not good enough really. Giving up too much yardage.

By the way Quinny is an awful ear full to listen to.

    I ****ing hate playing Wales.

    Far too easy for Wales

We are still very predictable with ball in hand

In fairness to Sexton the one he called out did look forward on that last replay

    Great try, in fairness.

    Two forward passes

    We're far too nice
    And Sexton annoys referees

Wales ahead with hardly any possession or territory. Not great.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Bridge93

    The passes were fine

Forward imo but jaysus what a bunch of stupid mistakes. Gave away 2 lineouts in Wales territory, the 2nd one was ridiculous, joke of a kick by Sexton too.

Wales will have the wind at their back 2nd half, if they have the lead I don't fancy our chances.

Sexton has his "sloppy head" on.... stop arguing with Poite and we'll win...keep it up and Poite will get very annoyed

Imagine having Romain reffing you though :)

Surprised Poite didn't call that backwards

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,026 ✭✭✭Euphoriasean

    Surely he dropped that backwards

Think that was actually backwards - always gets called a knock on though

Yeah, didn't go forward. Lost control is not a knock on. One of my pet peeves with rugby.

    Furlong is in. :D

    Get in. Much more clinical.

In the run up there - was that lineout not obviously crooked again?

Have they changed the TV angles in the Aviva?

  • Registered Users Posts: 209 ✭✭lillielad

    Good mad Furlong!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,349 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

    Good stuff from Tadhg Furlong.

POM is really standing up to the Welsh today, has been massive!

Nice bit of Wexford beef there

Great answer. Finally Wales make a dumb mistake and we capitalize instead of ballsing it up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,542 ✭✭✭dublinman1990

A much better kick from Sexton.

  • Registered Users Posts: 758 ✭✭✭Somedaythefire

Does Poite have any idea what’s going on during a game of rugby? That “knock on” went backwards!

    Great response from Ireland.

Sexton needs to be careful in his approach to the ref. He looks like he is starting to lose it a bit, but Chr*st Poite would do your head in sometimes.

Wynn Jones is up talking with him after almost every play.

Probably thanking him for all the excellent calls he’s making for his team.

I’m sure you were probably agreeing with George Hook that Schmidt lost the Leinster dressing room and wasn’t the man for the job as he’d no head coach experience, when he came to Leinster.

What the **** are you talking about ????

Wales in at the side of every ruck.

The Welsh offloading game coming to the fore here

Wales fly through on every ruck to create a gap or slow the defenders

I counted 4 in that last passage of play but one time Biggar entered at 90degrees it was so bad
