My property on the NBI site has been updated to "Network build in progress" and the date has moved from Jan 2021 - March 2021 to February 2021 - April 2021.

    I’m in Cloverhill, Co.Cavan.

Strange that you're later than me considering work has already started in Cloverhill while I don't see anything outside of Oranmore yet

Has anybody in Meath/Louth gotten any updates? Or even seen a survey van lately?

Thought that too but I'm still pretty happy with those dates. Hoping it won't get pushed back again.

    Yabba Dabba Doo......

    Surveying Underway
Your premises is in the Intervention Area and surveying is underway in the locality. High speed fibre broadband is anticipated to be available in your area within the date range below.*

    Date:
    September 2021 - November 2021

    Area: West Wicklow.

EDIT: I'm registered for updates but didn't get one.

To get the above news I checked my eircode on https://nbi.ie/ (for the 123rd time!!)

So at a quick glance it looks like from point of Surveying to Rollout is ~ 1 year.

Say a prayer for those of us in counties who have been surveyed....and our town area not included yet.

As always....would be real nice if they would give an estimated surveying timeframe. Real nice.

Not a stitch. I contacted the government broadband team (can't recall official name) and was told there was no update and to use a mobile connection for now (we can't even get line of sight wisps like Imagine).

About time and half the county

Not sure if any of these mentioned are actual "townlands" in Kilkenny, they seem to be an assortment of labels scraped off Google Maps.

    Johnstown
    Gathabawn
    Galmoy
    Eirke
    Tyroe

If they've only announced surveying in Kilkenny how have they already updated the map?

I always thought that came later on. How long has KK shown rollout dates I wonder?

  • Registered Users Posts: 675 ✭✭✭Gary kk

NBI advisor said they hope to have all surveying complete by early 2021.

Seems a stretch but here's hoping.

Also for anyone in the initial Galway rollout, I checked the area surveyed 10 mins away from me corrandulla area Galway, they have a date of Jan 21 - March 21

How are they getting communications to these rural connection points since there is no fibre laid, wireless similar to Imagine?
