Normally the same but nope, overactive head I guess.

Think of onion rings , golden crunchy batter , mouth watering deliciousness inside..
Although that'll probably just make you hungry , sorry Grem :o

Coffee and a croissant here while cooking dinner .

21K brother tedo? and there was thinking I was doing great with my 15k walk yesterday.

Just back from the shop but in no mood for the park.

Some erm....strenuous exercise might help :o:o

    :pac:

I'll give you some strenuous exercise Sephers ya pup 😛

My mam was grand until yesterday but has gone into complete lockdown now,I think it's to do with the talk about the elderly not being treated if it got really serious, shes got the tv and radio on all the time and I dont think its helping her.
My dad called and took their dinners home, she wont come in to my house and knowing her she will stick to her guns,I totally understand it but its very sad.My dad did have a quick cuppa here but the lads stayed in another room, first time that he has ever called and there was no hugs, again sad.

I'm being berated here for intending to continue working, they feel that if I don't want them to go to a friends house I shouldn't be going to work, also got a smart comment about getting my nails done, that's teens for you,its a continuous battle but I think I'm winning so far.

I've just heard something on the grapevine from a colleague and I'm definitely not mentioning to my gang here, tomorrow will be interesting.

I brought this paste home with me. You can get the Chinese one in Tesco, but the Madras one is great. I haven't seen it here. My flatmate makes a great curry with it, including a veggie version. Gonna try it tomorrow with big chicken pieces and basmati rice.

Just spotted this on Swans on The Green so I’ve picked it up based on your recommendation.
on how to use! I’m veggie so any ideas. ?

An Indian friend made me a vegetable curry once with a lot of cauliflower in it. I forget what else she used but the cauli was, for want of a better word, meaty...kind of substantial and filling. I loved it.

I just heard Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been tested positive for covid 19.
Covid 19 is now, going into isolation for 14 days :D

Placebo's version of Running Up That Hill is now helping pass this exceptionally boring day.
It's reverse psychology. Tell us we have to stay in and we fight it. I do anyway.

Ate in a deserted restaurant for lunch, no problem observing distance protocol. Some of the staff looked befuddled, a few idling by the kitchen. The writing could be on the wall for some unfortunately, I expect the hammer will come down at 6pm.

Cauliflower is fab as an alternative to pasta for a bolognese dish, mash it all up and yum yum, frozen is also handy and just as good imo.

I just hung out a load of washing, grand drying there 😂

Why do I get the feeling these stories are a private stream from Auto's hidden cameras.

Beautiful day out there, but I’m inside my living room, horizontal on the sofa, in much better form than yesterday when I was thinking of self-imposed isolation for weeks - or more - on end and getting very stressed out. Kids are playing outside in the communal garden so that is really nice. :)

Planning on going for a drive with the OH in the next hour. The freezer part of my fridge would of course be on the blink (along with the gas boiler, which will need complete replacement according to the plumber who came out last week to fix it) so will have to do a shop for food later on.

There’s plenty I can be doing from home - creative writing I meant to catch up on, painting, building one of the big Lego Creator sets my OH got me as part of my Xmas present, some much needed Spring cleaning...

Keep safe and sane my friends! :)

Diced potato. Carrots. Peas. Egg plant.

I can never get that mix in my area over here and twice since I've mentioned it, stockists have been revealed. Local Asian shop doesn't even have it.

I made a chicken version last nice. A good sauce for a quickie Madras.

Green Saffron curry spices, pastes and sauces are also nice. Made here in Ireland too.
I'm going to buy the ingredients for vegetable curry on Monday.

Armchair-side just having a snack. Have college work I need to be doing but not feeling motivated for it at the moment, so I’ll put it off till a little later and hopefully get working on it then. Might go out into the garden for a bit as it’s a nice day out and fresh air would do no harm :)

Hope all the Wherers are doing well!

Cookerside having just taken cottage pie out of the oven to let it cool before I serve. Looking good. Spud topping lightly crispy on top and a bit if gravy bubbling to the surface. Who wants some?
