For normal clerical jobs I thought there could be a few batches of interviews, say if the there wasn’t enough successful candidates in the first batch of 131

Is it not based on your original merit ? I’m in the 90’s so that’s me out! Assumed there would be a lot more positions

It’s actually a new order of merit. I rang them as soon as the results were out. I Moved up the panel about 20 places after interview and made the cut

I just rang the general number on the PAS website. I think it’s 018587400
I just asked where I came. It closes at 5:30 though

Did everyone get the same email about been in consideration? Did anyone get told if they got the job or not?
Bit unsure of what's to happen next from that email

Candidates placed at 1 to 20 on the order of merit are now under consideration subject to clearance by the Irish Prison Service.

Your application will now be processed through the clearance stage by the Irish Prison Service to check that you fulfil all the requirements governing the competition, including qualifications, health and character.

The Irish Prison Service will be in contact with you shortly with regards to this.

    That's mine
