Really disappointed with that hope he wins the appeal.

And he's back in again.. thankfully..

UPDATE: Jakob Ingebrigtsen has successfully appealed against this decision. He WILL run in the 5,000m final. #AthleticsWorldChamps

Article from the Irish Times a couple of days ago said they were expecting an average of 20,000 a night. That's *slightly* less than the 70,000 per night that London got :pac:

70,000 per day average, not per night. Some days had 2 sessions. The capacity was 60,000 and not all sessions were full.

    Your point still stands though.

Just getting the women’s marathon news now. That has to be looked at. Are they still hosting a World Cup in a couple of years?

When you see elites pouring water over their heads after 3 or 4kms you know things are not normal.

    English out hard...

    Fades badly...

    Poor run..

Lap 1 was fast, but not blistering!

Did English not get the qualifying time for the Championships?

Disappointed for Mark. Why did he go to the front? A suicide run. Hoping for better news from the hurdles.

No problems going to the front if you have the fitness and speed...

    Today he didn’t...

Barr will need to really run hard and fast to qualify..

    Some serious talent..

  • Registered Users Posts: 321 ✭✭horsebox1977

Such a naive run by English, should have raced the way he would normally race, he's still have a stronger chance of qualifying as fastest loser.

MCMaster DQed after a sloppy race in the first hurdles semi. Improves Barr's chances slightly. Needs 3rd and faster than 48.93.
