On the end stretch of Valkyria Chronicles and I see 4 is now half price on the store for twenty euro, nicely timed!

The Game Collection have physical copies for £20 including Irish shipping, works out at just under €24 using Revolut.

Really tempted by this. Have a switch but was interested in some of the 3DS games but a few of them I had my eye on are still a bit expensive at least as physical copies.

Wondering if this is the best price we'll see on these before the weeks out.

I got a preowned 3DS XL from Gamestop in the summer for €70 so might be worth checking in one or two of their shops?

Excellent to hear, getting a switch lite for my daughter for Christmas and was stuck on what bundle to go for. The standalone console and this will be perfect for her.

Yes. They're a very reliable site. I've bought from them loads of times over the years and never had any issues. They also have...

SUSHI STRIKER: THE WAY OF SUSHIDO, Switch version is £7.95

Trine Collection only €25 in Smyths. Outstanding value for four games (three of which are excellent).

I see a few sites are trying to offload Labo kits free with the purchase of a Switch.

GAME and Argos also have Labo Kit offers with a Switch. I'd say Nintendo must have greenlit getting rid of the dead stock. That's probably the end of that overall failed experiment.

3 of which aren't on the cartridge. Only Trine 4 is, it's a download code for the other 3. I love Frozenbyte but they got ripped to shreds when they announced this, after initially saying that they'd all be on the cartridge.

I think that is a hardware limitation. There hasn't been a single release on Switch with more than 1 retail/download game on the cart.

You can buy the first 3 Labo kits for £10 each below:

Edit: Sorry, I meant to post this about 20 minutes ago. Looks like people snapped them up quickly. They were all in stock when I first clicked on it. They say that they'll be back in stock soon.

True. But they're still better value than trying to purchase separately.

Minecraft for Switch reduced to €6.99 in Tesco if you can find any with stock!

Has anyone seen Dead Cells for a decent price? Started it on PC today and really enjoyed it so said I might as well pick it up on Switch.

Not sure if this is a good deal or not, but sure, if it's not, just ignore it.
Switch Console + Labo Multi-Kit + Lego Marvel Super Heroes + Aladdin and The Lion King for €350 + shipping (€15) is €365 for the lot

Possibly but most stores are dumping their V1 switch bundles so more likely you'll see a rake of them.

I was asking here about games for myself on the kids santa Switch, thanks for the recommendations, he's asked for Mario odyssey so I'll have a go off that, along with the older Mario's on the online pack.

    Now I'm looking for a 2nd controller.
I'd rather a full sized one over the joy cons. A lot of the €35/40 wireless ones are getting very mixed reviews so has anybody any recommendations.
I'd rather keep it at €40 max as it's a present from someone else and we've set that at the maximum.

Waiting for some sort of offer on the switch but nothing yet.

What are the chances some first party games will get a price cut? My switch is still sitting in its box since I got it from Gamestop in that 30 quid offer. :/

There are wired controllers in Smyths for 25e. Licensed by Nintendo so can't be too bad. I've been eyeing the Donkey Kong one for a while, they look and feel like Xbox 360 controllers, I'd prefer to burn out something as inexpensive as that than go through another set of Joy Cons.

I play my switch every day. Broaden your horizons and grab some digital games. :o

ah Nintendo famously hardly reduce their game prices. Often a "sale" price is equivalent to full price on a PS4 game.

You'd never see the Nintendo equivalent of God of War (for example) going for $9.98 as it is currently on PSN US.

It's always best buying Nintendo games in physical format as you may be able to claw back most of the cost by selling on the cart after.
