Looking to get Ring Fit Adventure for Christmas. Doesn’t seem to be gone down anywhere in the Black Friday sales.
If anyone sees any good prices on it would be much appreciated.

What are the chances some first party games will get a price cut? My switch is still sitting in its box since I got it from Gamestop in that 30 quid offer. :/

You'll be waiting. Nintendo are notoriously stingy, be it hardware or software. There's a few tokenistic digital offers right now which only brings their prices down to in line with what you can buy them physically from time to time. Owning physical copies of games have far more advantages. The only real time you get cheap prices on Nintendo 1st party games is if years down the line they put out a small Selects range or if a game bombs, e.g Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido and Labo.

You can buy some very good 3rd party games cheaply though.

I think it's too recent a release for a discount and it seems to selling alright, particularly in Japan.

Nice one @sligeach - my 10 year old is mad into Harry Potter at the moment and is well into book 4 - perfect stocking filler for her

ah Nintendo famously hardly reduce their game prices. Often a "sale" price is equivalent to full price on a PS4 game.

You'd never see the Nintendo equivalent of God of War (for example) going for $9.98 as it is currently on PSN US.

It's always best buying Nintendo games in physical format as you may be able to claw back most of the cost by selling on the cart after.

Yeah I don't have any hope for the store. I'd never pay full price for a digital Nintendo game but some stores might reduce some games a bit I hope. Just can't justify paying full price for the likes of Luigi or Pokemon.

Would this work here? It seems to cover EU. I am thinking just change my address to a French address, it's delivered via email or ebay messages anyway.

Is it worth it to save like 3 euro?

Isn't that why it's on offer?

I thought it was €30 for a year when I posted, but anyway, €3 off is still okay considering all you need do is change a address for a minute.

I was asking here about games for myself on the kids santa Switch, thanks for the recommendations, he's asked for Mario odyssey so I'll have a go off that, along with the older Mario's on the online pack.

    Now I'm looking for a 2nd controller.
I'd rather a full sized one over the joy cons. A lot of the €35/40 wireless ones are getting very mixed reviews so has anybody any recommendations.
I'd rather keep it at €40 max as it's a present from someone else and we've set that at the maximum.

The 8bit do controllers review very well and are around that price online.

    There's this for £35.60.

8Bitdo SN30 Pro+ Wireless Bluetooth Gamepad for Nintendo Switch, Windows, Macos, Android, Raspberry Pi (Black Edition) (Nintendo Switch//)
    EKT2V4AX0AIztWS?format=jpg&name=small

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/8Bitdo-Wireless-Bluetooth-Nintendo-Raspberry/dp/B01ND166P6/

It's available in a couple of other colours and is supposed to be very good. As with any of these 3rd party controllers you'll miss out on a couple of things like HD Rumble and amiibo scanning, but it's not a big deal. It does have advantages of its own as well.

If you do want to go official, here's your best bet for £50.

My kids wants just dance so I need to buy the switch and extra controllers as there will be at least 3 playing.
Can anyone advise what controllers would be best for this?

Is there anything to be said for buying a good game.

Looks like a crap game to me too but they are very new to gaming consoles in general.
Request is Minecraft pet friends and just dance. I'm guessing the pet one and just dance are as bad as the games get

AFAIK just dance 2020 is on Wii - yes the Wii.
So I bet you know people who have Wiis in their attic and loads of wiimotes ...

If you want it on switch then you'll need a regular switch, not a switch lite and 2 more joy cons for 4 player simultaneous mode. The switch comes with 2 joy cons. I ASSUME :) ...
Sounds like it can also be played with a smartphone connected to the switch ...
So ... maybe you don't need the extra cost of the joycons ... they are expensive...
Have a read of this: http://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/nintendo-switch/just_dance_2020 for the details.

Sounds like it's also a subscription service to keep it up to date ...

Don't forget you can also get amazing games like Mario Kart and Odyssey that you and your kids can play too. A Switch is not just for just dance :-)

(update after your last post) minecraft is a great game and gets great reviews on switch
... I'd avoid "pet friends" and save the money for something else ...

Really - there are solid gold gems on switch ... especially for kids

I've mentioned this one a few times - I have a Beboncool PXN wireless controller I got on Amazon for around £20 (this one) and I've found it great. Can't guarantee that e.g. the NFC works though, as I've never used it. For everything else it's the job.

I understand what the intention is with the joycon design, but every time I play my Switch handheld it's like returning to the bad old days of PSP claw :/

Yep - once I started using the pro controller - I could never go back to the joycons ... they are awkward and uncomfortable for me.

I like the concept of having easy built in twoplayer support, but the ergonomics on them are horrendous. I picked up a couple of grips for the joycons (these ones) when using them in single joycon mode - still not perfect but bettet than the default.

IDK, the fact that Just Dance 2020 is the last version that will be on Wii might have contributed a bit to that as a Collectors item and possibly the last Wii release ever. Also, it's the first year that the Wii U didn't get a version, however the Wii version can be played on Wii U, so that too may have helped sales. But ya, overall, it did perform well on Wii over the years.

Mod Request: Hi everyone, can we please keep this thread for Nintendo Bargains only?
While some tangental talk is to be expected, there is an awful lot recently that would probably be better in one of the other available threads, or even a new thread, better fit for purpose.
    Thanks

Not a big saving, but a saving nonetheless.

Nintendo Switch Online 12 Month (365 Day) Membership Download - £14.85

    Nintendo Switch Online 12 Month (365 Day)Family Membership Download - £24.85

    https://www.shopto.net/en/ndo10001830-nintendo-switch-online-12-month-365-day-p61002/

It's about €2.50 and just under €5 of a saving for the respective plans.

    Super Bomberman R (Nintendo Switch) - £16.99

    https://www.base.com/buy/product/super-bomberman-r-nintendo-switch/dgc-sbombmrns.htm

Don't let the original reviews put you off. The game seen a lot of improvements made and content added post launch. Plus, it was the game's initial high price that also factored into negative marks against it. It's a vastly different, better product now and well worth it at this price.

Yeah it's a great game. FWIW, it's on sale digitally for €14.99 too.
When released it was 3.6 GB (maybe a bit bigger now with the extra content).

Bomberman is a good game to have in digital so it's always available.
