Those Royal Dansk are buttery and great, a real treat ad they come in a tin.

Never herd of the other yokes.

    Vote Danish Butter Cookies

Two rather prosaic biscuits with butter in between, can be transformed into something exceptional.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,825 ✭✭✭appledrop

Omg I love both of these! Why are they in the same round.

I'm going to go for Danish cookies for nostalgia because we always bought them at Christmas in our house years ago.

Danish butter buiscuits because they remind me of Spain.

Danish Butter Cookies cos the tin is cool.

    But realistically both are sh1te

Danish Butter Cookies but just for the tin. But biscuit-wise, anything is better than Choco Leibniz.

Well you have to keep your sewing paraphernalia somewhere

Choco liebniz because I like to nibble the chocolate off the edge. I’m still not convinced butter cookies exist, I’ve only ever seen sewing kits inside.

Choco Leibniz, because of the overhanging chocolate

Chocolate Leibniz are a better biscuit - buttery and chocolatey

The Danish ones are very nostalgic alright but I remember feeling a bit disappointed when they came out of the press at Christmas. For all their sugaryness they also have a blandness. It's as though the sugar is doing it's best to make up for them being cardboard.

Butter cookies ... a Christmas staple. They always remind me of my grandad

In the post starting each tie, could you indicate what tie it is, i.e. Round 1 a or Round 1 (ii) ? It'd be handy to know if we've missed a round, or how many are left.

Each fresh match has a heading saying Round 1/Round 2/Quarter Final etc on the top if you're on desktop. I'm not listing each match number though. Hope this helps you remedial piece of sh*t.

    Ooooh, still in this one.

Danish butter cookies. If it doesn’t leave a scummy buttery residue on top of the tae, it’s not a real dunker.

Has to be the butter biscuits. Nothing more disappointing than opening a box and finding a sewing kit inside

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,956 ✭✭✭✭Omackeral

    +1

Omackeral’s input outside of posting the rules, matches and results is consistently lame and unfunny..

This is objectively incorrect information. PS it's time for a new ''character'', the Emmet one has ''run its course'' I'm afraid.

    Choco liebniz. For nibbling purposes.

I think you were in one of the earlier rounds. Commiserations.

Butter biscuits because I’m not a fan of gingers

    The Ben & Jerry Wich.

And don't say it doesn't count as if it doesn't then neither do Custard Creams. Bigger and colder don't make it not a biscuit. 'Bringing Cookies & Cream together' is the advertising slogan in the states and what are cookies? Biscuits.

I think I've made my case here.
