All this talk got me thinking and I checked if my old account was still open....it is and I have been here on and off (mostly off) since 2005!

I got in trouble for criticising adverts and EGAR. Anyone miss EGAR? Didn't think so.

Why would you want to? Half the people here are racists or people who lose their **** over the tiniest thing.

I'd rather interact with people face to face. I always find in a social environment out and about your more likely to find common ground with people and actually interact.

Online most the time you only see certain opinions because your interacting inside of one perticular topic.

Or maybe people should have the ability to hide them from all but mods to be honest it would stop a lot of bullying.

I don't think I'd notice if I was being bullied on here to be honest.

First they came for the socialists...

That is absolutely unfair. Half the people on here are not racists.

The cohort that used to frequent The (original) Thunderdome were some of the funniest fookers boards had ever seen.

    Captain Darling
    Yekahs / yitzak rabin
    Sergeant
    Quality
    Mad Chef
    Bronte
    Loopy
    Creeping Death

There were others too i cannot remember. Iirc it was a post from yekahs that ultimately led to the dome getting torpedoed as an admin took a personal issue with it.

    Well not literally.

You get people who think the unemployed should be medically experimented on.

Its not the topic. Trust me.

Yeah! It's at least two thirds!

That yekahs was a shakey chracter.

    I can't do maths ....

pray because later this week i am bleaching my own hair and i have to correctly remember how to dilute developer from 40% down to FIVE percent with conditioner to tone it.

Just remember, diluting up is the same as diluting down, mathematically speaking. If your scalp is burning, you're doing it right.

King of the Eyesores is another now departed (from Boards) poster. Just a funny, sound bloke that never got involved in any nonsense.

Honey, it's because you post a lot. I post a lot too, but not in that random trigger-happy way.

Sometimes you have to stand back and pick your battles babes xx

Wicknight, Galvasean, Zillah - some of the heads that used to knock around the A&A forum back in the days when I used to spout a lot of shite there. Always especially enjoyed reading Wicknight's take. The A&A forum in those days helped shaped the man I am today! (Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing...)

Wicknight. I was trying to remember the name of the guy who used to argue with The Corinthian in Humanties all the time. It's mad to think how many of these posters I've read and completely forgotten.

I’m going to give a shout out to Karl Hungus, one of the original mods of the Film and set out a positive culture in the place

I didn’t always agree with his of his views or even opinions of some films but he did great work for the forum

In a similar vein there was a chap in the paranormal forum, 6th, did trojan work for a paranormal forum.

He changed his name to Zombrex near the end, but he'll always be Wicknight to me god damn it!

Zombrex. Yeah, I remember he had another name alright. Honestly think changing name and the close account feature has ruined the continuity on here. You've no idea who you're talking to half the time.
