Shame it isn't leather as it's a lovely looking car, he'll be plagued to death with last price merchants from eastern europe.

High miles and ex taxi of course but it actually looks quite tidy. Respectable looking car for the money.

how did it get an NCT when it is still registered as a taxi?

Also it went to km on mileage....

  • Registered Users Posts: 51,158 ✭✭✭✭bazz26

You can see the shadow of the paint finish where the Taxi sticker used to be on both front doors, that and the steering wheel cover hiding the wear. That's pretty impressive mileage if it's actually 383k miles rather than km too.

It has been reclassified as private in the last day or so seemingly

Driver's seat has help up very well, you'd expect it to be in bits with that mileage

Yeah the interior has held up well, I wonder was the driver's seat replaced? You can also see on the dashboard at the passenger side where the airbag is, left over sticky residue where the driver's ID and PSV license would have been located.

It's still licenced as a taxi, licence expires 4/1/21.

Why? If you're used to a manual are you not better stay with a manual car?

1st licensed as a taxi on 08-01-2015, it was used as a rental taxi.

I still think it’s a bargin, if it starts and stops as it should I think it’s a good buy.

What do you think about a BMW 318i Automatic 2007 with 137000km? Do you think is still reliable? Unfortunately, I can post the link because I'm new :(

    Thank you

    I'm assuming this one; https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/bmw-318i-automatic-as-new-137kms/26090762

It says 3 previous owners, so I'm guessing it was 3 previous owners before he bought it on 24/09/2020 ?

I'm assuming when it says "Trade sale needs bearing in diff" it needs work done? Listed as "Private Seller", but is selling a load of cars.

Slightly off topic, but is that double din unit OEM? Never seen one before, climate controls seem to be part of it too

Fiesta with 28k miles and NCT til May next year, far too pricey at €799 but how and ever

Had to laugh at this little driver aid

Punto on a covid extension til May, 19k miles, €895

I'm not sure there is any Mk2 Punto out there worth 900 quid, but I do love a low miler

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,687 ✭✭✭✭wonski

I don't remember last time I seen Punto on the road.

They disappeared very quickly. Strange given how cheap the parts were etc. Rotten away and poor build quality (all the plastics etc) could be the reason. And the huge depreciation I think.

Labour costs in garages wouldnt save it even if the parts were cheap.

    Cheap tax manual 2.4 d5 S80 with NCT til October 2021, €1250

€570 tax makes this a potentially decent buy for someone doing a lot of miles on a budget
