    7th Place :: Gigi D'Agostino - L'Amour Toujours

    ROFL, Chooooooooon!. Great song that always seems to come on right when you've knocked back your third yaegar bomb. Summery? Yes it is. And it will make you think of summer all year around. The broken down verse bits are the real summery feeling in this for me. Gigi really knows how to fill a floor! I'm hot and sweaty just thinking about this one :D

    This is one of my favourite songs of all time

    Snap, but Rikand hates it, us and quite likely kittens too :(

    Strange time to ask, but why is it called walrus?

    12th Place :: The Decemberists: June Hymn

    A bit potato and lampshadey for me. Some nice harmonies for sure, but this offering just wasnt for me. A little too much on the artsy scene for my liking but subsequent relistens did just manage to keep it out of the bottom 3

    6th Place :: Waka Waka - Shakira

    Grosso might have taken the final penalty (and what a peno it was), but Materazzi was the real hero of that world cup lol. Great summer song and when it comes on in the car, you're always going to bop your head along with it and of course Shakira makes it a great video!

    The story itself is quite a long one, but the game is named after a person called Vasily "Walrus" Jones who was the creator of it. I'll fill you guys in on the story one of the days. I'll put it in the signup thread when I get some time. I remember the story well :)

    5th Place :: Chicane ft. Moya Brennan, Saltwater.

    Classic! Very balearic. beautiful chanting and a timeless melody. I swapped this one over and back with waka waka. It just about won me over at the finish

    4th Place :: Michael Franks - Dragonfly Summer

    Just a wonderful wistfulness about this song. I'm a big James Taylor fan and this had all the feels of one of JT's for me. Wonderful soft vocals and that Clarinet? type instrument, just really really nice, Even hints of nick drake in it. Ahhhh, it just has it all. Only not quite enough to crack my top3 although if I gave it another week, it could have gotten there. It was one that just went up and up for me

    3rd Place :: Madonna la isla Bonita

    Back when Madonna was good. Great summery sound, summery lyrics, very hispanic, spanish guitar, spanish vocals to close out. I would just feel so at home listening to something like this out foreign in any of the bars on the costa del rikand. I hadnt heard this in so long and I really enjoyed it
