Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anybody know the story with text competitions that don't have entry limits listed in the terms and conditions? Can you enter every day/hour/minute?

Generally they're single entry per mobile only.

Are you sure it's not your postcode? It only accepts eircodes with no space in between.

Keep entering and you'll eventually win – won on my seventh attempt and my housemate won after a few tries as well!

Edit: Here's the batch code for 10 x Omega 3 Fish Fingers if anyone needs one: L9212BO066

Not yet – got an email recently to say that it'd be at least another 40 days, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's almost Christmas by the time it gets here!

    Anybody win anything nice lately..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,983 ✭✭✭ShagNastii

Was quite fruitful this year (so far). The usual steady stream of cinema previews and that.

A trio of wins in the Coca Cola promos. Football jersey, Ticketmaster voucher and Premier League tickets.

Topped off with Centre Parc family tickets for opening weekend. A real novelty, awesome experience and price-wise probably the most expensive win I’ve ever had.

Was the Center Parcs prize that you won with Mothercare? Or a different competition?

Myself and my housemate both won a travel case in the Original Source comp last week – competition is open until the start of November so definitely worth entering!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,983 ✭✭✭ShagNastii

Think I won the Center Parcs comp directly on the Virgin Media website.

Gormal, is there any thing you are really into? I enter everything and have often passed tickets n such onto family who are more available to use them.

You offer so much to the comp thread.

There's no purchase required to enter for ROI residents

Thanks, I'm grand. Not like we can win me a body transplant or new ears :pac: I have about 3 wins a month, so I'm doing alright.
If you see ones for hearing aids, 3 seater recliner sofa, tech or gadgets you can let me know.

How much time do you all spend comping? I spend maybe 5 minutes a day. I find it hard to find competitons beyond what’s posted here. Lol.

Thankfully the batch codes aren't unique for this one so you can actually keep reentering with the same code every day without buying more chocolate!

Couldn't say, as I spend more time looking for them and posting here than entering.
Except during the mad season then it's about an hour a day, when I'm organised :p

I am guessing the Advents at Christmas when there is competitions everywhere and usually new ones everyday. Start of December the competitions really kick off and you cant keep up with them

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,523 ✭✭✭Gormal

Yes that's it, I get totally overwhelmed the first few days. Newbridge started a 12 days today on facebook. Hampers & Co will be running weekly ones from now on social media, I think I saw it on Twitter or Insta.

We might see them starting earlier, so that we have them in time for Christmas.

Got my MiWadi bottle at last. The reminder after a month must have done it.
