anyone else not really bothered about this returning? Struggling to get interested

Defintely the same without the H2H leagues. Surviving in League 2 was all I was interested in.
Now I'm just gonna enjoy Premier League being back and finally Liverpool winning it.

I think the likes of Sterling will do well without the crowd.

It’s not that they boo him but he does miss more than he scores so without the crowd ‘noise’ acknowledging his misses I think he could do very very well.

I think that teams that dominate possession will do better overall. There isn't really a home and away factor now as such. Pitch dimensions and that will come into play but a team like Burnley hanging on at the end to a clean sheet against a big side might be trickier to come by as they won't have the crowd behind them.

Sterling might finally score against Liverpool now given the circumstances!

Or was it just Anfield he couldn't score in?

Hasn't scored against Liverpool in a competitive game. (10 appearances). He has a couple of assists alright. And we all know the community shield doesn't count! :P

At Anfield, he has been subbed off 4 out of 6 times.

Can anything be said for defenders enjoying it in general? No crowd to drown out shouts etc.?

Of the big decisions I think I'm going to drop Pepe and go with Aguero/KDB/Sterling. At the back I'll drop TAA and go with Alonso and Doherty most likely.

A Liverpool rout of Everton is the big risk of that approach but happy enough taking that chance.

If I get ANY inclination at all that alonso will start I’ll have him in

Had to have a look at the table to remind myself who has what to play for.

At the top, obviously Liverpool basically home and hosed

Big race for Champions League spots, City Leicester, Chelsea, United, Wolves, Spurs (and to a lesser extent Sheff United and Arsenal) all have a chance with City's possible ban.

At the bottom, Norwich look dead, but will fight, and then there's a crowd with work to do - Villa, Watford, West Ham, Bourntmouth and Brighton.

Really only leaves a handful of teams that could be on the beach - Burnley, Southampton, Newcastle, Palace and Everton. Think I'll take a pass on those teams.

Yeah was looking at that myself earlier in the week
Couple more wins for pool and city and they have nothing to play for . But I would still be reluctant to go without one of Mane or salah all the same.
City have a nice run just when they are likely to have nothing to play for . Will be KDB or nobody for me. Probably nobody .

I currently have pope and Taylor from burnely . Will only be using them when sheff united have a sticky game like next week.
Have Fernandez from Newcastle too though .
Dcl is still my 3rd forward . Struggling with that spot . If norwich and pukki could stay alive he may interest me

Rest of squad is full of champions league contenders and Grealish basically. Might look at the likes of Sarr yet.
I don’t care if Bournemouth end up with a quadruple game week. I will never ever ever own one of their players ever again.
I can say that with certainty now as this will be my last season more than likely

As someone who has felt many of the same feeling as you have, you'll be back. And so will I.

    Not next season
I’ve too many other distractions for next year !
I’m glad this season is finishing and running almost straight into the next

If I had longer to think about it maybe I would play ........
Of course I have made the premier league too. Maybe I’ll just put a ghost team in !

    This wek, your FH team.

Next week, the team you had before all those transfers.

I think you may have just described Mesut Ozil

He's currently in my team. Is it madness?

Complete and utter. Stay away from Arsenal except for Auba and maybe Leno.

Yeah. I've been saying to myself that Arsenal are a trap. As you say Auba and maybe Leno are the only real options. Right, back to the drawing board...

One of the big disadvantages this week, is for 16 of the Premier League teams we’re gonna be operating before any real team news comes out.

    An excellent point
It’s also a long Gameweek in the midst of a pandemic !
I have decided to have a full playing bench even on free hit now just in case

Going for a BB this week, think I'm all set with my team.

Main decision is who to punt on for the last two midfield spots, with a budget of 13.1 (KDB, McGinn, and Grealish being the other 3).

At the moment I have it on Harvey Barnes and Zaha. Both have nice fixtures, Barnes in form, Zaha not having a great season but he is a proven performer who should be central to what Palace do.

    Other options might be:

    - Martial and Cantwell
    - Ozil and Traore

Any other ideas for punts in this mid-range midfield brackets?

Sarr is my pick of the mid-priced
