    Booing the kicker for starters

Sat among them, some very decent but serious amount of them were awful alright.

Thought Kearney was going to need a security escort off the pitch, the way some lads were screaming.

They're home fans. They can do what they want. I'd take issue with the booing at the final whistle but I've no issue with fans making the game atmosphere as hostile as they can within reason.

Am I alone in not caring about this at all? That's part of the atmosphere. I hate this preciousness that's come along regarding kickers etc. It's not golf, boo and cheer away.

To be fair 3 points is a bit of a hammering these days.

Booing the kicker I can live with

Booing at the end because you lost just shows up the whole place. Bad losers.....not even the worst soccer fans would bother to hang around to boo because they lost

Booing the kicker, aggressively shouting at a woman behind me about the unsportsman like behaviour of Luke McGrath taking his time to put ball into scrum and booing at the final whistle made the win even more satisfying. In fairness the couple beside me were lovely and from the start said Kearney only deserved a yellow

Had a couple of real assholes behind us trying to spoil it for everyone. Worst fan behaviour I've ever experienced.

Irish supporters really need to get over ourselves when it comes to this. The custom here is to be quiet during kicks, that certainly isn't the case everywhere, it doesn't make other fans a 'disgrace'.

Most people have said booing the kicker is ok....in France it happens all the time.....

According to some of the Glasgow fans they done it because sexton was taking so long? He was taking a while so maybe a decent excuse

They did also boo every decision which was a bit over the top....let them off with that as well

Booing at the end was the disgrace....bad losers and showed themselves and Scotland up....its the show piece for Pro14 and you have clowns like that at it....not great at all

Why not get Jack McGrath and Noel Reid to lift the trophy as well as SOB? Reid in particular had a big season for us. Thought it was odd.

You can’t really compare the impact SOB has had with Leinster and Reid now in all fairness? Reid promised much but failed to deliver and became a good squad player

McGrath was one I might have expected up on podium, did Nordi lift last year?

Nordi and Johnny I think was European cup

    Isa was Pro14

McGrath must have pissed someone off cause Leinster have pretty much blanked him since the talk of him leaving came out.

Isa lifted the European Cup too, he was the captain.

Don't think you could have three lads lifting the trophy and as good as McGrath has been, SOB is one of the best players we've ever had. So a fair enough call really.

It does seem a bit harsh but I can't imagine they're happy with what is an objectively selfish move on his part.

I'd still have done it if I were him but Leinster were never going to be happy about it.

I think they're just looking to next season and giving Byrne the priority. They did pick McGrath for the European final.

Because having Reid and McGrath up there would've downplayed the significance of SOB lifting it. A gesture in recognition of one of Leinster's greatest ever players would've just become a run of the mill gesture to departing players.

Started a couple of games and was in the 23 for the HEC final.

Can't be surprised he hasn't been involved more though. Byrne has legitimately outperformed McGrath this season and deserves his spot ahead of him. He had two strong cameos in the past week in big games also.

And finally, the Kolpak rule is no longer an issue for us.

Is JGP good from start of October? Did he arrive a bit later, can’t remember. Be great for the first half of the season anyway with internationals away and then only arriving back and needing too be reintegrated

F**k it I think we should sign 2 more players.....its great crack to try and see which 2 out of 3 gets picked

JGP played v Benetton on 2/9/2016 So could in theory go to Japan if needed

Good from June, as its a residency requirement, not a playing requirement. :)

His last game was up in Ulster, end of last month. He was virtually invisible and was replaced shortly after half time.

It would be fair to say that his Leinster career ended with barely a whimper.

Best wishes to him in Ulster though.

His last game was the Champions Cup final.
