Lowe was banned/dropped for a large chunk of the season after a ban for a similar challenge.

My favourite piece of Sean O'Brien's career is the turnover at the end of this semi final. It was pure strength of will not to lose.

Also notable poor old leo getting his head ripped off.

Was only watching that a few weeks ago. Leo is getting jujitsued directly in front of Barnes and he's not interested.

His greatest ever steal imo. To do it at that stage in a final as well. Just immense

Power athletes are rare in Ireland, thank god we still have furlong and healy in good health for Japan. We really need a new Ferris, SOB, Wallace with a bit of footwork also. I remember Wallace bouncing a scottish winger after fielding a kick with his abs and sob sitting Nyanga in a 2011 warm up from a 5m quick tap and scoring, u-11 stuff. They stand out because it's so rare for us to have those players.

He found it difficult to get back into the team after the incident due to KOLPAK issues. He barely played in the middle of the season. It was widely discussed on this forum that his indiscipline may have played a part in his lack of game time(I don’t personally believe this but it was a commonly expressed theory. Maybe dropped is the wrong word but he’s definitely struggled for appearances until the past month or so.

Luke Mc got injured and with Ryan and Toner on 6n duty, Nagle moved North that meant Fardy and JGP had to play

He was carrying an injury for a large part of it.

"I mean, our defence; the way I describe it is that we're too much Garry Ringrose; we're too pretty. We need to be a bit more Robbie Henshaw because he's not as pretty as Garry, so that's how I word it anyway."

James Lowe’s description of What Leinsters defence needs to be

Ok let’s reduce and say they will start in every other Pro 14 side....happy?

It's also not true tho. Take Nick McCarthy alone; he wouldn't start for any other Irish province, without even mentioning any other team in the league.

Anyways, congrats to Leinster. Disappointed for SOB, one of Ireland's all-time-greats but a nice touch him getting the lift the trophy.

Haven't seen that in years, what a day! Brings back great memories. A few thousand of us having pints outside the tiny Conemara bar, Clermont supporters lining the streets clapping us into the stadium. My brother purchasing his first "legal" pint at the age of 16, to find out later they were only selling non-alcoholic beer:D

That last 5 mins of the game was crazy, we were all down the other end of the stadium standing up going bananas. Poor guy beside me was on his own and couldnt watch the end, just sat there looking down. What a day! Love the Clermont fans too.

Some Glasgow fans have a lot of work to do. I've never heard such vitrol and hate come from fans mouths before, don't get me wrong I am loud at matches and come out with ****e too but not anything like what was being said on Saturday. The guy sitting beside me 100% wanted to murder Nigel Owens. He hadn't a breeze of the rules, which was hilarious. A middle aged woman tried to start a fight with an older male Leinster fan. Her son and other Glasgow fans had to calm her down. I presume most of the 47k thousand were blow ins and dont represent the actual warriors fan base. At least I hope so, i've been to a few games in Scotstoun and always had great craic with Glasgow fans.

The win made all of this all the sweeter :)

I couldn't care less about booing and the Glasgow fans around me were perfectly pleasant. Organisation was a bit ****e alright though - the queues for everything were the worst I have ever experienced.

Yeah it is important to stress that not everyone was awful. Couple next to me congratulated me after the game and were perfectly pleasant as were many around me. Unfortunately the nastier voices were very audible and I was convinced Rob and/or Nigel were going to need a security escort out of the city at one point.

The booing is a bit sad but with it being a French thing also, it's not that bothering outside of being annoying. It makes the win that much sweeter though.

I think they really need to think harder about venues going forward. Having the majority of away fans unable to fly home that evening because of poor organisation whether its with flights or rail connections is unacceptable.

Whilst it's all well and good to celebrate the high attendance, if that had been Leinster against a Welsh or other Irish team, attendance would have been significantly down. Getting home fans was a serious slice of luck.

It sounds like some of the fans were annoying enough - I've heard that elsewhere not just here.

But on TV the atmosphere did sound pretty good!

The boy in Brazil making serious allegations about the behaviour of players in Camden Street. A friend of a friend told him. How he gets away with that sort of shít is beyond me.

I hate giving him the oxygen of attention that he thrives on.
