It's like a wave. Defi tokens go up, then a few days later the money is moved so ETH, and then into Bitcoin.

If you strike the right Alt you can make a nice bit. The risk is you start chasing every new coin that promises the world. You end up with lots of garbage and they do nothing and drift off to be worth nothing.

It can be fun though. But pure gambling.

    I've generally a 60/20/10/10 split across Bitcoin/ETH/Alts/Defi.

What some folks do is rebalance the percentages . So if they get a run on a given alt they will sell a portion back into eth or btc to maintain the balance with the larger more stable coins.

Another thing I do if I have lost confidence in a given token or realise I have too many and not able to track them and make big gains on a favourite I will sell them after after any pump and consolidate periodically, into maybe four or five large positions .

Also, I know there are a lot of XRP haters on here, but it looks to be setting itself up for a bit of a run. XLM usually follows.

    mentioned this 3 days ago....

$SXP mainnet staking just announced for Aug 22nd

This could be a nice run for the next 3 weeks

    Eth getting close to 400

That 360 resistance was the last for a while, could see Eth push on to 500 now

I know I could just Google it, but it's probably better to get a real person's view on it. were many of yous into crypto during the 2017 bull run? do you think this is looking similar? I think I'd prefer a slower rate of growth, this seems like a bubble that could pop at any moment.

If it continues to rise tomorrow and the next day then I will call it a bull run.

2017-2018 was insane compared to this, this is way more organic. put simply if my monthly salary that i had in 2017 was cashed out in Christmas 2018 i could of went part time. i don't think we'll see it again :(

In no way is LINK comparable to missing out on BTC under $10. BTC has a total supply of 21 million (and at least 3 million of those BTC are lost forever). LINK has a current supply of 382 million tokens and eventually it'll be one billion tokens. I'm a big fan of the LINK project and I got in at a very low price but some folk are getting a little carried away. :pac:

Anyway, we're real close to $12k BTC and $400 ETH at the moment.

    We're all in this psy-op together.🤨

Wish you all the best in your investments.
I will be dropping some money in LINK next week, have to wait for transfer.
It will either go to the moon or it will not.
A far as i can see, Link will either make me filthy rich or it will crab sideway.
I could trade other coins/tokens for 10% here or 15% there , but i believe Link is a true moon shot, will turn €10 into €1000 in a few years.

the trend is upward but expect some choppy sections along the way, the end result will be worth it

just have your exit strategy planned and try to stick to it

I've consistently had 70k as my marker but I know in my heart it will be very hard to cash out of this crazy ride.

I'm more hopeful that companies start taking payments in Bitcoin. And I can just buy a new Tesla :)

Yeah I think everyone needs to be realistic about their cash out point. For most it will probably be at about half the figure they think they'll hold until.

    Haha LEGEND!

Love Link but to think it'll go to $1000 within even (5-10 years)though is complete horse****.

Somewhere between $75 and $200 is a pretty optismistic target IMO.

    Quant on the other hand....
