THere's a certain type of man-boy (anything up to about 40 years of age) whose outlook on life is informed by the New Atheists (Hitchens, Dawkins, etc), all of his economics education is based on YouTube videos (usually concerning the so-called scam of Fiat Money), and as you say, who are often sympathetic to the likes of Carlson and Hannity.

They WILL use the word feminazi at least once a day, but unfortunately will not shower with the same regularity.

Almost every Irish man of this nature has, or has had, an account on boards.ie.

I assume at least 80% of them are virgins, and a similar proportion have few if any career prospects. A cohort of individuals to be pitied more than derided, quite honestly.

I might add to that, people who believe everything they read on the internet or watch on YouTube. It doesn't hurt to go research something you see on Facebook to make sure it's true before you share it.

I'd describe it as the type who want free speech to say what THEY want but are horrified when someone else uses it to say something they disagree with.

Then there are the types that paint free speech advocates as racist bigots so they can shut them up and let the liberal PC point of view be the only message allowed. Even if that means not covering certain stories that don't fit a particular narrative, or twisting stories to sell a certain narrative. For example covering stories differently depending on the race, gender, politics or sexuality of the people involved. This was wrong back in the 60s and it's still wrong, even though the emphasis has changed.

I am genuinely for free speech for everyone, even people I strongly disagree with. There are many of us out there.
