I don't know why the commentary team keep saying the game hasn't sparked to life
there have been some fierce battles out there. There is a weird hum from the crowd though, like half of them arent watching the game and are just having a chat

That weird hum noise is annoying.

I'd say TJ will be getting some grilling from Cody.

    He will in me backside.

He's the only identifiable Kilkenny player sticking in a graft.

I doubt it, he encourages his players to take a chance at goal and things like that, he might be annoyed at the execution alrite

Enjoyable game so far. It's not at the pace of the Munster final..not by a long shot. I'm not one of these that says Leinster is inferior but there is a marked difference in power and speed between the two games. The accuracy is there...some great shooting, but no one getting milled. A fair few whacks in the Munster game..

My point was there was talk during the week that it would be over 65k and it didn't look like it reached that but good lad for keeping my random observations in check. I'll be sure to get in contact with the turnstiles before commenting in future.

Wexford have joint captains? Is that a new thing.

Quality of refereeing is atrocious in both games today.

    That will hurt.

Fennelly did well, but awful defending by Wexford.

Over 50k at it and you can still hear Davie giving it socks.

Trips never blown anymore. If anything Limerick were hard done by today..but some very bad decisions in both games. It didn't make a difference in the Munster final..but it might in Leinster

Thought there would have been a few more at it especially with the Joe McDonagh final on but Laois and westmeath don't get much support.

    Lovely little turn by TJ

I liked that you could see the 'Ah bollox' look on the defender's face during the replay.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,624 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Neither team will be able to do a Limerick in this game. It's nip and tuck all the way.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,049 ✭✭✭zetecescort

Wexford doing well but Chin needs help from the other forwards

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,624 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

The finals don't go to extra time unless it's a replay. Do I have that right ?

  • Moderators, Entertainment Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 11,079 Mod ✭✭✭✭Say Your Number

Foul off the ball, should be a free out.

Lawlor doing very well at full back but one slip is all Wexford need.

Correct - provincial finals and all-ireland finals go to replays. Last year's Leinster final went to a replay between Kilkenny and Galway.
