I have played around with having Pedro in instead of hazard. Frees up a decent chunk of cash to get

Sterling Pedro Pogba [any value mid]
    Aguero Kane Rashford

OK, you have my attention :D

Ah, you have to have Hazard imo. But...I was thinking of Pedro in as a 5th mid. Would mean dropping Rashford or Jimmi.

I remember playing around with Pedro instead if Hazard during my first Wildcard. Had a moment of clarity & went with Hazard, he scored a hat-trick. Boy was I relieved

Pedro is one of the biggest FF traps
    Never mind in a DGW
    Just don't

    Ryan
    Laporte Lindelof Schlupp
    Hazard Sterling Pogba Son
    Aguero(c) Rashford Jiminez

    + Bench Fodder

I keep coming back to this tbh. Getting Kane in just sacrifices too much I think, much as I would like to have him

Same could be said of Hazard in fairness. 8 goals from open play all season.

I just tried a 433 with kane aguero and rashford up top
I am .1 off getting a united defender in and will have Wanb playing who may not even be fit.
Every team I try with him decimates the defence and weakens midfield

Also I would like to have a little bit of fun with this chip and welcome back a few friends.I can easily get in PVA but Schlupp seems the more sensible pick.
I also think Ashley Young could be a gem...........he offers far more than Lindelof and I can easily afford him without Kane

    Also very very true
But I think I would rather be disappointed owning Hazard for these fixtures when its a free hit to own him than ever ever fall into the Pedro trap
I predict he gets injured in the first game

I think Hodson Odoi could start one of those 2 games as well

What’s the difference in scoring from open play and a set play?

    Exactly
Milo would not be 4th mid in lots of FH teams without set pieces !

Exactly, so no point arguing Hazard not on form (FPL wise) & using pens as an example

For example Aguero wouldn’t be PL top scorer without pens but with them makes him more appealing

You are relying on penalties, in which case you may as well get Milivojevic for €4.5m less!

    My potential Kane/no Hazard team:

    Kepa
    David Luiz, Lindelof, Duffy, Schlupp
    Sterling, Pogba, David Silva
    Aguero, Kane, Rashford

Any viable United midfield options besides Pogba? Lingard, Mata or Martial?

Actually mcArthur instead of Milo leaves me with this:

    Foster

    Schlupp -- LaPorte -- Duffy -- Luiz

    Haz -- Pogba -- McArthur -- Sterling

    ---- Kane -- Aguero

Would you consider AWB instead of McArthur? Good with bonus and as likely a CS vs Huddersfield than Mcarthur scores over the two games
If you hate 5-3-2 you can convince yourself that Schlupp is a midfielder

that's a fair point, had not considered it. Is AWB guaranteed to be fit

It could be any of the Palace back line to be fair - though he is the best (Tomkins is 4.3).

I am going with a 5-3-2 at the moment - It looks and feels wrong but that might just be because the default for people is a 3-4-3 or similar.

It probably has a lower overall points ceiling but a higher floor

I’m on this at the minute and a big thanks to this thread is why

    Foster
    Schulp Duffy lindelof
    Dilva Pogba Hazard Mili
    Kun Kane Rash

    Hamer AWB Romeu Simpson
    .3itb

Choices between now and deadline are
    Foster
    Hazard
    Dilva

    V
    Ederson
    Pedro
    Sterling

Thoughts on Sane instead of Son? Sane, when he plays, can be FPL gold. He should get 1 guaranteed match.

I just know the leicster bournmeouth game is gonna be a goalfest with vardy brooks and wilson getting points. If Perreira finally delivers things are getting broken

Starting to lean that way myself! Whilst I fancy Hazard to outscore Pedro, I’d imagine Ederson and Sterling will outscore Dilva and Foster by quite a bit

Sarri expects Hudson-Odoi to be starting 75-80 per cent of the games in the future, but for now, the winger can expect maybe two or three games from the beginning due to the busy schedule. #CFC

Sarri: "We have some players who are a little bit tired now. Kante, Giroud, Hazard played three matches [sic] in seven days and now we are not in October, it's different. I had the whole squad only yesterday. Yesterday, I saw somebody was a little bit tired."

    Ah **** off.
