I really want Kane, all signs are pointing at him finishing with the golden boot BUT that price tag means I have to concede in midfield! Can I really take the risk of a weakened side for a high scoring striker 🀪

When I can hold Jimenez and Wilson for the same price as Harry Kane

That 5-2-3 is a new one, I didn't know it was legal to play two mids.. ppl are really going for it in the final stretch !!

Probably will change numerous more times. Trippier could easily become Laporte and hopefully there will be more information about Shaw’s injury closer to the deadline. Dalot would be interesting if there was guarantees he’d get minutes. Might look back into the option of a 4-3-3 with Silva being the mid that is most appealing. Can’t get past the idea of having Kane at the new stadium even though he’ll more than likely let me down like he did when I triple captained him against Cardiff!

There is a separate thread for Wildcards, you would be better posting your team there as we are looking at things from a totally different perspective, unless of course you are playing both your wildcard and free hit in the one week.

Aguero will start both. Maybe Sterling too. Even if he only started one he has good fixtures anyway.

Don’t really like the Lindelof pick as no potential for attacking returns. I think Mahrez will start v Cardiff.

The obvious weak spot is Deulofeu (given his upcoming FA semi) but I’m finding that 4th mid spot hard enough to nail down. Happy enough to roll the dice on Deulofeu

Teams are so much more balanced without Kane imo
I will be very similar to this except I may go for a 5th mid or another premium defender instead of Jiminez
He will prob only start the first game. And that’s away to burnley ........

If you downgraded Kane to Rashford you could get a spurs mids
You then have 2 players with better fixtures who will start both games
(All dependant in Rashford being fit which he will be imo )

Yeah I have looked at that. The thing I like about Kane is that he is one of the few players this week who is almost guaranteed to get both games.

Every time I try a team without Kane I’m not as happy as I am with my main draft:

Rashford allows me to say double up on Chelsea defenders and/or go 3-5-2 with Eriksen/Alli/Son, but I don’t like it as much. A Spurs midfielder just feels like Spurs coverage for the sake of it, when really Kane is the best Spurs player to have by a mile.

Alli is back and assisted in first game back after his injury . He scored in that game
So a goal and assist in last 2 games . Albeit spread over 2 months

You may have a point though to be fair

I'm also in the Kane camp, but finding him difficult to fit in.

Neither Hazard nor Pogbas stats are good, and one of them will definitely leave us all down this week..if only I knew which one I'd leave them out for the funds for Kane :pac:

Ali is the one that interests me as well if I was going down that route

Rashford is the key alright - would almost prefer he is ruled out as it would push me more towards Kane

I actually really want Kane though :P but yeah just no way of fitting him in.

Wolves will still want to do well in the league and finish as high as possible. Hoping Jimmi gets 1.5 matches in that case. Plus he could score well in one game even. Will assess again later.

Having typed it out and squinted at it, I'm not sure I'm happy with Son or Lindelof, tempted by Mahrez for some odd reason ....will tinker away for another bit

My team value is a bit rubbish so I've had to go with a ropey defence. Happyish with the team but unsure about Silva. Would rather Pog but can't afford him. Could go with Deeney up front and get Pog in but worried about Watford rotation.

I have played around with having Pedro in instead of hazard. Frees up a decent chunk of cash to get
