Horan and the team would want to come up with a strategy for Clarke's Kick-outs .

Some Shocking defending from Meath in last 10 minutes put a gloss on the score.

We’ve been really poor for long periods today. So many individual mistakes.
But we’ll take the win and be glad to go to the last round of games.

Scoreline is very flattering. In all honesty it was a pretty poor performance against an average Meath side. Big lift needed for Donegal.

Andy head and shoulders our best player out there. At 35. Says it all

Unfortunately we're looking on course for a very sobering evening in 2 weeks.

Hopefully hennelly gets the start. I don't think I've ever seen a worse kickout display at this level than today

Luckily Meath completely ran out of steam as that was overall a very poor display

I think if Donegal win now we're basically all but out?

Losing to 10 by Kerry will leave us with a desperate goal difference as everyone will hammer Meath

Even if Donegal win y 1 point, we'd have to beat them then by 6

Fair point.

We're definitely shouting for Kerry here. With three defenders out Donegal are somewhat weakened.

F**k it. Take the win and move on. Very flat for the first 55 minutes but a good finish. After 5 weekends on the spin at least we get one off now. A rest with hopefully some of the injured quartet back and we'll give Donegal a rattle.

Is that definitely the way it works though? Heard someone in the panel say that if teams are level on points, (e.g. If Donegal win this and Mayo beat Donegal they have 4 points each), then it's decided by the head to head clash. So if that is correct all Mayo have to do is win the game?

Can’t do the basics

I’d rather a keeper who is good at his main job

No, your flaw is that Kerry would also finish on 4 points (when they Meath).

So then Kerry would top the group but 2nd would still be determined by the match in McHale park. Not saying that is how it works, just looking for clarification.
