The bench doesn’t inspire much confidence

    Hennelly
    Plunkett
    Oisin Mullin !
    Barrett
    McCormack
    Murray !
    McLoughlin
    Loftus
    Andy
    Carr
    Boland

I think the team names may well start

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,534 ✭✭✭SomethingElse

I'd expect one of the more seasoned midfielders will be held in reserve to replace Seamie when he inevitably tires. Possibly Barrett starting instead of Coen or Vaughan

  • Registered Users Posts: 48,148 ✭✭✭✭km79

Anyone know what time gates open ?
Was going to head on early and get the carvery
But if it’s nit open till one will have to eat around I Connell street

Oisin Mullin impressed against the Galway men when few stood out but boy is this some step up.

Agreed I think the named team will start.

    Or Seamie himself
EXCELLENT analysis of the kickouts from Billy Joe on podcast
It’s the lack of a coherent plan more than anything else

Embarrassing moment... but for what I think is the first time in my lifetime I don't actually recognise a particular player in the Mayo squad

Forgive me Oisin Mullin, but can anyone please give me a quick background

Don't mind that O'Connell street nonsense, Fagans have the single best carvery in Dublin - and they don't spare on the portions ;)

    Kilmaine
Would have pedigree as his uncles/relations would have represented mayo at various grades I think

Can play corner back or in the half back line. Very pacy and looks to have potential. Will still be U20 next year I think so surprised he's on the senior 26.

Wouldn't be Oisin's first game in croker, played in the kids game during halftime in 2013 :D

Forecast all over the shop the last day or two. Currently looking like dry for the first match, with rain for the second.

Horan called him in after the Galway U20 game. He has serious speed and a very good player. He was down in Kerry last weekend with the team and I heard he was told he will get game time very soon.

I think he got a taste from Boyle with a shoulder during training this week

Must have been the only player Boyle tackled all week.

I remember the 85 minors had an MJ Mullin from Kilmaine. I assume that he is one of those relations that you mention.

Diarmuid on the pitch, still wearing the blue cast

    Hopefully it'll hold off.

Thers more in Quinn’s than there is in Crocker

Indeed it's a sparse enough crowd thus far although there are folks in the upper Cusack so you'd imagine there'll be in excess of 40,000.
