Things are getting desperate, I had a look at the Racing Post and they're tipping matches in Singapore and the Turkish 3rd tier!

To be honest the way my betting had been going for the year i've had a lucky escape with this virus. Its about the only positive i can take from it. I haven't lost any money in the last week. Love to see the bookies profits down. Fantastic haha.

Realistically, a break from betting every now and then is good for the soul!

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,299 ✭✭✭✭Collie D

I just went into SkyBet there to see if they voided my ante post bets on the Euros and first thing I see is them not just taking bets on this FIFA competition (the video game) but they’re taking bets on the outcome of the draw

Yes indeed fellow sports speculators. A good rest is what we need to recharge the batteries. The 24/7 nature of thinking about betting with sport on at all times can chip away at the soul. Especially when things not going well. I've had a stress free week in that regards. Pity it took this almighty disaster to help me put the breaks on but im glad to be away from it.

Not a bad way to spend a free bet!

Decent value on Hertha Berlin tonight I think they gave up a few chances so we could see goals too

    Hertha win and btts 9/2
    Hertha score 2+ and 6+ corners 9/2
Hertha score in both halves and 3+ corners in each half 16/1

I've been trying to come with bet on this as well. Hertha's poor enough home form is making it hard to judge. I was considering the draw but over 2.5btts is a safer option at just over evens. Your 16/1 is a tempting bet too.

I have a strange question. When/if Premier league returns will there be much change in the way teams play because of the fact that players can hear the instructions being giving by coaches and managers?

I know its the same for both sets of players.

Im just wondering will players stick more rigidly to plans with coaches constantly getting message across.

Maybe I'm wasting my time, just hoping there could be a little betting edge?

I picked the premier league because that's where I do most of my betting.

Less likely to have a home team cause an upset because the crowd isn't there to spur them on. I've also not

Also, Bundesliga are playig with five subs allowed - not sure if the premier leageu is going to go with that or not.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

    Bayern over 1.5 fhg
Bayern under 1.5 second half goals
    7/2

Bayern -1 in the first half 13/8

Perisic to score from outside the box 12/1

Maybe less yellow cards because no jumping into crowd to celebrate?

Bayern -1 in the first half 13/8

    placed that same bet

also on kimmich to be carded at 4s

Adding in Frankfurt to have 5 or more shots on target @7/2
And 6 or more on target 8/1

Sneaky feeling with dortmund on deck bayern might take the foot off the gas at some stage

Think the leipzig game could be quite open

Leipzig 9 or more shots on target 10/3
10 or more on target 6/1

Over 2.5 second half goals 2/1

RB Leipzig and Koln to score 2+ goals each and take 4+ corners each & Mainz and Dusseldorf to combine for 4+ cards 9/2
