Chelsea around Evens to win tonight... looks like good value to me, especially with United missing that pace from Lingard & Martial

Lingard is not fast at all!!!

He's quick in the transition to attack, you don't need to be a 100m sprinter to bring pace to attacking play.

When you take him and martial out of that front 3 you take A LOT of pace out of the attack...

Decent sized punt on Barcelona tomorrow night away to Lyon at 4/5. Very good value odds in my opinion.

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 33,972 CMod ✭✭✭✭ShamoBuc

I can see Lyon scoring, so going with Barca win btts 2/1

Firmino to score Pool to win at 7/2 pp

Firmino is a doubt with a virus. Pre virus news, I was actually thinking of that bet myself too.

Watched Lyon PSG last week. Lyon are not a bad side.

Fekir is suspended - thinking of just going for the straight win.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I reckon Firmino will start. Could be similar to Gini last week, was a doubt up to kickoff and played a blinder, hopefully anyway.
If Barca are at full strength they should win but Lyon at home know they will have to score to have any chance.

Might take Pool and over 2.5 at 2/1 pp aswell when the teams are announced.

Skybet enhanced acca of Barca, Sunderland and Bayern at 12/1 is good value too for a small stake, treble is best odds of 7.61/1 currently

Liverpool double chance, Liverpool over 2.5 1st half corners, 1 card each team @ 6/4.

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 33,972 CMod ✭✭✭✭ShamoBuc

    Firmino starts.

Mané and Messi anytime double at 5/1 pp, have to take some of that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,379 ✭✭✭hefferboi

Gone for Messi 3+ shots on target and Keita to be booked @5.81 with PP

That’s a nice double. Mane v Kimmich is m enticing

Gonna chance Liverpool 4-0 @ 50/1 also, have a feeling this could be a trashing.

Taking a poke at the 7/2 about Lyon, can't trust barca away from home in champions league.

For the pool game I like
Btts 3+ corners for each team & 2+ cards for each team @9/2

And over 1.5 first half goals 6/4

Derby have a good home record but Milwall have an awful away one. The other 3 should win.

Derby, City, PSG, Rangers at 3.5/1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,346 ✭✭✭Lamposts

Aguero 4/1 for a card tonight. He'll get suspended for the home game doing so. It means there's no risk for the QF's then.

Mckkennie & Caligiuri to be booked 14/1.
    Singles at 12/5 & 3/1.

    Same bet with pp .98/1

Poch is 33/1 with Smarkets, who I've never heard of before, to be next United manager. PP go 11/4.

Anyone think Utd look really big this weekend? 11/5 bang in form and at Old Trafford and I think Liverpool looked tired against Bayern and they don't look like half the team they were during the Christmas period.

They really are bang in form, getting a lot of good results, at home- very good record there v pool, but their defence is tailor made for pools front 3 I think. Liverpools back 4 will be steadied with Matip and Virgil together with Trent back at left back. This allows Fabinho back to midfield where there are real options for a change.
It will come down to United tactics, very hard game to call, but I might have a few quid on btts both halves 11/1

    0-0 so :)

Depends on how United approach it. This might be one that's better considered in-play rather than pregame.

    United v Liverpool:

    Draw 12/5
    Liverpool clean sheet 12/5
    Under 2.5 1/1
    Under 2.5 and over 10 corners 3/1
Ashley young to be booked 13/8
Ashley young to be booked first 8/1

    All with PP

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,379 ✭✭✭hefferboi

And a small bet on Liverpool to win to nil, Mo Salah anytime and over 8.5 corners 11/1

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 33,972 CMod ✭✭✭✭ShamoBuc

Btts both halves at 14/1 is a power price with pp, 11/1 bet365 worth a few quid.
Given the lineups, I would sway towards away win, but the above will do for interest.

Wolves, Leicester and Leeds Skybet crowd boost currently at 8/1 after 65k bets increasing to 17/2 if they hit 75k and max of 9/1.

Best price elsewhere is just over 11/2. Free fiver on it for interest.

11/1 for a Watford win has to be worth a small go tonight.

    Also a treble on

    Arsenal win
    Palace +1
    Rangers -1
    2.5/1

    GL

Spurs v Chelsea draw arsenal to win and btts and watford plus 2 . 23 to 10 and 6 to 4 and evens . Makes it just over 15 to 1 treble . Interest for the evening

Feels like it's worse than ever this year though. Bristol City had won their previous four home games before yesterday. And who would have called Wolves losing to Huddersfield?

Think West Ham at 20/1 (betway)v Man City are huge odds.

City will be tired after 120 mins on Sat, Pellegrini will want to get a win against old club, plus hammers have a lot of players back.

Fancy a small flutter. More a gut feeling than level betting head ;)
