The BBC seem to think that the rain on Thursday will turn to snow when winds turn to the south east.

Just had a big rumble of thunder here in Kenmare bay, don’t know about snow though haven’t looked out.

    Bloomin’ chilly though.

Don’t know how often Meteogroup (via BBC) updates but they are continuing to say it will be a relitively big event on Thursday with front pushing inland and quickly turning to snow.

Well time to call it a day and what a day it's been for Cork!! More snow for us late tonight and in the morning then a freeze up early tomorrow evening.
Looking forward to my red alert tomorrow and Evelyn appearing on the news advising schools in the South to shut😆

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,074 ✭✭✭questionmark?

Outside my house northside of cork city

Looks great. Work in Cork and just got a message from work saying the office is open as normal tomorrow. Bosses must have looked out the window saw people might be thinking of having fun tomorrow and decided to put a stop to it. Bah humbug!!!

I’d cry laughing if it turned out that way tomorrow :)

As a Dubliner I feel almighty jealous of Cork

Although most times we get the snow, so I suppose we're getting a taste of our own medicine!

Regardless, the streamer's breaking up but im still praying for something lol.:pac:

Just put out the bins, the paths and roads in the estate are frozen over like an ice rink here in Castlebar!

I can see the road is like glass outside, more pink /red radar returns on the way, the roads will be dangerous in the morning!
