    Very early days yet. Cue ball control exemplary both frames so far, can sometimes let himself down in that area. Confidence should be sky high now at least.

    Some miss on the red to middle from Ronnie in frame 3. Be disappointed meself to miss that. Trump on top in safety, many probably expected a shootout today.

    Had to be 4-0 for his sake the way he’s playing as well as ronnie just not getting into it yet. Safety excellent, long potting ferocious (must be 90% at least), if he keeps that standard up going to very hard for ronnie to get back into it.

    That was a chance for ronnie, would have hoovered those up at his best.

    Big ask now but am reminded of Paul Hunter back in the day, one of my favorite ever finals. 2-3 frames off the cuff and he could yet offer some hope.

    The funny thing about this match is that i dont think Trump is playing as well as he can, Ronnie has been so hopeless that Trump cant really lose the frames.

    Ronnie hasn't showed up today unfortunately. Granted, Trump is playing at a level I've not really seen him at, and he's tied Ronnie up in knots...but Ronnie has had chances that he's fluffed. It's all but over really. Can't see a huge pendulum swing tonight, Trump has been too good.
