MCW waived by Chicago......along with GOAT-replacer Ron Baker, MarShon Brooks, Pat McCaw (who actually wanted to get waived), Lorenzo Brown and James Nunnally. All other non-guaranteeds are now locked in 'til season end.

Exactly halfway through the regular season Portland still haven't won a game while trailing at the end of the 3rd, and have won every game while leading at the end of the 3rd.

How often would teams turn around an end of 3rd quarter deficit?

I'd imagine not many if it's 8 points or greater.

McCaw signs with the Raptors. It's a low risk potentially high reward signing.

OKC again last night lose a game they should win to potentially (at the time) go top/joint top of the West. This time at home to the Twolves. This is the 4th time in the last 3 weeks they've done this.

Noel's concussion injury looked bad in real time and worse in replays.

Yeah that was heavy - elbow to the face & then smacked his head against the hardwood :(

    LeBron out for another week.

They have an easy 3 games next, but will need him back soon as they have a really tough stretch coming up

Watch them beat the Cavs and Bulls without LeBron and the fans start saying they don't need him.

I'm surprised the NBA didn't shut down the league until he was ready to return!

    JOKE! :pac::pac::pac::pac::pac:

The mighty Cavs and Bulls. Was reading somewhere today that when adjusted for pace etc. the Cavs and Bulls defence are in the top 10 all time worst in League history in certain categories......... More suicides needed.

I’m already anticipating GarPax somehow making an utter mess of the draft.

Get the No.1 pick, take Zion and then trade him to Lakers for Lance because Zion would likely be due a max in 5years.

Watched extended highlights of allay last night....43 points off 4 dribbles. 4 dribbles!

Then of course he’s pulled from the game by Kerr with 50 in his sights.

Boogie back in the next week too I believe, be interesting to see if he will get back to close the player he was.

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,552 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Boogie at even 50% is a better center than any this Warriors dynasty have had before.

This pass from Jokic at No. 3. The vision, timing and skill required to do that...wow. He had one cross court to the corner from the post this year that was one of the best passes I've ever seen - can't find video now but will look for it again.

The Bulls FO just increased his salary and extended Jim Boylen's contract for one more year despite both the fans and seemingly the players absolutely hating him.

    Lol. Classic Bulls.

Blake Griffin turned up to play against the Clippers tonight. He’s so bitter about it, they did screw him though.

Entertaining game in Washington tonight, Raptors by 2 after 2 games of OT. Should never have gone to OT though, Raptors up by 23 at one stage & Wizards only ever in front in OT.

Clint Capela out for 4-6 weeks, Harden is completely alone now, incoming 40 FGAs per game

  • Registered Users Posts: 53,028 ✭✭✭✭ButtersSuki

Only noticed this today but up until yesterday Malcom Brogdan was on course to beat the all time FT% mark.....he's 84/86 for the year so far so "just" shooting 97.7%. Still some way to go on this one though.

Clint Capela out for 4-6 weeks, Harden is completely alone now, incoming 40 3PT FGAs per game

    FYP. ;)

He was 1-17 from 3 last night.....and still finished with 38 points.

Most attempts in one game is 24. Harden has had a 23 attempt game already in 2019. I'd bet he goes over 24 in the next few weeks.

Find Steph scoring 48 with only 3 FTA ridiculous, especially when the first was a technical and the other two were for an intentional foul at the end.

Yep, as expected Harden has 21 FGAs at halftime.

Harden goes for 57 last night......it’s all a bit silly at this stage.

I’d rather watch Steph do it like that than Harden score 30+ with 2 made field goals.....as he did recently.

Steph is a career 90%+ FT shooter, if he went hunting for fouls he’d be scoring at a higher rate.

Great comment by Juliet Littman on one of The Ringer podcasts the other day where she said the arguments people were making against Westbrook for MVP 2 years ago are the exact same arguments people are making that Harden should be MVP this year. Funny how the argument changes depending on the person.

Further to this, LeBron has now missed 10 games this season and more are coming. Will it affect his All NBA Team position at the end of the year? Unlikely. Did it affect other players in recent years - of course.

Dennis Smith Jr looks like he's on his way out of Dallas, supposed to be their PG of the future but I guess they never expected to draft Doncic (well done, Atlanta and Sacramento) and they don't look too good together.

Rumour that Orlando and Phoenix are the teams interested which makes sense considering both have needed a PG for ages. With Dallas not happy with DeAndre Jordan I wouldn't be at all surprised if they tried to swap Smith Jr for Mo Bamba straight up.
