Tried this approach. When I get to settings I see devices, only device showing is my phone, don't see any way to add other devices ...

Scroll down a bit more to Home control and add it in there ;)

How did you get it down to 18.50?

    Registered a new account
Got awarded points for doing so
added 3 plugs to my basket
    added the code here
added 150 points for further reduction
    removed post insurance.

Its there on one of my phones not on the other. Have it working now on my personal phonr but still not visible on work phone for whatever reason. Both Android, same wifi network, same Google account, same Sonoff devices. EWeLink works exactly the same on both. Weird.

Seeing the list of devices now, thanks for the pointers.

I wasn't seeing the icon in the video either so Del2005's suggestion worked for me:
" "OK Google" then say "Open Home Control Settings" "

The device you're looking for is "smart we" - I was looking for sonoff and finding nothing.

Android 6 (marshmallow) or higher required.

The missus reckons I'm entirely too easily amused, wandering around the house shouting at my bedside lamp to turn on and off.

Just did the same, and got two relays because why not....

    She'll kill me :(

Anyone concerned about the permissions required by the app?

I think I might look into different firmware.

Any ideas on what to use them for? Will use one for a lamp and not sure after that

Will use them for Christmas lights this year plus for tea/coffee maker in the mornings, not sure what else yet.

Good for lamps I suppose or TV maybe?

Just wondering would an electric kettle or a toaster be too big of a strain on these plugs.

Check the wattage of those, the switch has maximum rating of 2200 watts.

I asked about this and apparently you can do it from anywhere once you have internet on your phone.

Anyone else still waiting on theirs?

Ordered the 16th (like most on here) Sing post trackingv says landed here august 30th.

The tracking system is a bit crap if the truth be known.

Got three yesterday. Still waiting for two more. SingPost still says waiting to dispatch. Ordered on the 16th.
The three I got, I ordered on the 17th. They were shipped by BEEXPHQ (which seems to be China Post) rather than SingPost.
EDIT: BEEXPHQ seems to be a China wing of Belgian Post.

    Did you check tracking?
Bad form, considering all the orders you put their way :-)
