He wasn't 'obviously a quality hooker', nobody had any idea what he would be like as a hooker considering he played prop. Ulster saw potential in him as a prop, and seeing as they were the ones offering him a wage, wanted him to play there as they had an abundance of hookers already.

McKee was Ulster and Ireland schools captain as a prop.

he played ireland u18 as a u17 at hooker.

ulster were wrong, they didn't have to offer him a wage, they just had to allow him to play his preferred and better position while in the sub-academy.

an ulster do not have an abundance of hookers. They have McBurney. A pen machine.

    Ah well, Leinsters gain.

why are they still talking about a terrible woman side, the 20s starts in 10 mins... suppose none of them have a clue about any of the 20s.

    Eddie O'Sullivan FFS.

3-0 England. 7 minutes gone. England on attack in irish 22 but Ireland turnover

Try England. sloppy score to concede. Our lineout just outside our 22. ball passed across hands in backline pass goes to ground and england get score.

    14-3 England

Hodnett looks the only player physically able to stand up to them.

Really competing well but just make a crucial mistake at vital moments in both attack and defense.

He's a very dynamic ball carrier. Taking a leaf from Josh van der Flier's book too. :D

Huge calls to leave French and Milne on the bench by McNamara. I think this could be his last championship if we ship a big score here tonight

way too early to say that.

Shame to concede so easily after getting back into game
